not so impressed. i had been there once before and it seemed pretty promising. the last time i went made me realize i don't need to go back. the service was notgreatat all. my tea was never re-filled, the original waitress never came back to check on us, another young guy delivered the pizza to the table, i got my 9 year old son to ask for a to-go box. so, i paid and did not leave a tip since the waitress wasn't interested in really serving us. i wasn't all that impressed with the pizza either.

liked the pizza; not a rave. we came here with a small group and had the pizza. this is agreatplace to bring kids and eat pizza, which is what they intend. that is the atmosphere.

as for the pizza itself, it is definitely better than the standard chain pizza, but it is far from an artisan pie. very good, but not particularly memorable. if we are in boerne and need to feed a bunch of kids pizza, this is where we'll come.

great find in agreatlittle community. our server was friendly. there are no alcohol sales but you are welcome to byob or wine, or whatever!! the crust is
thin, crispy, and flavorful. the toppings
are fresh and plentiful but not too heavy. i can't wait to go back and try some of the freshly made pastas!!

cost prohibitive. the pizza isgreatbut way too expensive. it's not fine dining it's biker/construction worker pizza.

disappointed big time. the experience was mediocre at best as the pizza was just 'okay', thinnest pizza i've ever eaten...and i have eaten agreatdeal of pizza in the last forty years. the taste was not rich as expected. they obviously have not modeled their product from the new york or italian styled pizzas. the staff was not very inviting, we had no idea who the waitress was as she never introduced herself. don't expect a refill of your drink or a bill of charges. you are to go to the register and they pull your 'tab' from their counter and ring your meal up from the order sheet. no prices are listed on this 3x5 sheet of paper. so, knowing if you'd been overcharged or not would mean that you would have to ask for a breakdown. what? are they saving paper by not presenting customers a bill as 'normal' restaurants do? would they expect to buy groceries or clothing with this method. i think not. we won't be returning. first and only time we will darken their doorway :( not good.

awesome. had lunch at broken stone pizza co. 2 slices with drink. one of the best pizzas i've had, not just around boerne or san antonio, but it rates with the best pizza places around the country. the crust is remarkable. thin and very light. the owner told me that they hired a baker from kansas city to develop the crust. i don't know what they had to pay this baker, but it was worth every penny! service wasgreattoo!

great thin crust pizza. very fresh ingredients. the ability to "build" your custom pizza, including white pizza, is great. hillary was working up front the day i was in. she beautifully handled a large bday group of young boys, large takeout orders and several other tables at once. overallgreatexperience. recommend you give broken stone your business.

we love broken stone!. i agree, i have no idea what the person above is talking about(you know, the only bad review!) broken stone is the best pizza in town, and the locals know that the atmosphere is just fine. there is nothing wrong with supporting your local schools and artists-we respect that around here!!! we love it, and in fact are eating it now-their delivery crew isgreattoo!! thanks guys-keep up thegreatwork!!

best pizza....ever!. i like to think of myself as a pizza connoisseur. the chain pizza companies churn out product that does not interest me at all...even on my hungriest of days. no, i prefer the inconsistent loveliness of hand crafted dough and wood ovens. couple this with fresh toppings and top notch mozzarella and you've got a meal i would choose over, well, anything. anytime i travel, i seek out what the locals consider their best pizza joint. i've had the real deal in new york, chicago and anywhere else i've been that claims to turn out an amazing pie. i never would have thought my quest to find the best pizza ever would end in boerne, texas! i have eaten at broken stone (this will illustrate my deep love for agreatpizza) three times this week. what started as an accident (i didn't know the place existed) has turned into a relationship complete with crunchy crust, bubbling cheese and whatever else completes my idea of a perfect slice of heaven that day. my only complaint? this would be the ultimate experience if i could compliment their craft with a nice glass of red wine.
