food is good. service is not so much.. for a chain this place isn't too bad. we have yet to get a bad meal, fingers crossed. lobster bisque is hot, hearty and creamy.chickenscaloppini doesn't disappoint. i usually get the lasagna and it is always super hot. the service needs work.

average at best !!. this evenings experience was a 3 out of 5. we made reservations, therefore we were seated right away. our server was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy. but, as for the food i think it could have been hotter and mychickenromano was average. thechickendid not have enough romano cheese taste and thechickenwas sorta like a frozenchickenpatty with a slice of mozarella cheese on it that was not melted that good. the bed of pasta was fine with a red sauce. i pictured the entire meal differently and i guess i should have sent it back. i thought it would be a much fresher piece ofchickenin a light sauce with angel hair with a cream sauce. my bad i guess! i should have talked with the manager but did not want to make a scene for my husband, children and daughter in law. our bill was close to 150.00. don't think i would rush back any time soon. we had dinner at olive garden last week. better prices and it includes all you can eat salad or soup with your meal.

disgusting! completely overrated! ordered the balsamic chicken, thechickenwas burnt, dry, and so salty that i couldnt finish it. the orzo and asparagus were even worse. they were just soaked in oil. hire someone that can actually cook. never again!!!!

try the bar bites!. i've never had a regular entree here, but my friends and i will go during happy hour and get a drink and their bar bites. these bar bites, which i think are regular appetizers, are only $2.95, and if you get two you have a good meal. i get the same two every time, the crispy shrimp napoli, and thechickenbacon artichoke flatbread. both are extremely tasty and have great flavors. the white peach sangria is sweet but delicious. the bartenders were extremely friendly as well. if you want a cheap meal with a classy atmosphere, this is the place to go!

chain where you get what you expect. we've been to this location 3 or 4 times over the last couple years. as mentioned by several other yelpers, bravo! is a moderately upscale chain similar in theme and substance to others of its ilk - meaning you'll (generally) get consistent food, service, ambience and value. chains like these have spent countless hours standardizing the customer's experience. i'm not complaining about this formaic approach but you should have very few surprises during any visit. we also noticed the sanitation rating was a 100 - excellent.

food: my girlfriend ordered off the seasonal menu - thechickenvaldostana which were thinly poundedchickenbreasts sautéed and topped with prosciutto di parma, fontina, diced tomatoes and a mushroom white wine sauce. served with brown butter and sage fettuccine ($10.99). she enjoyed it and thought the butter/sage fettuccine was tasty.

i got thechickenmarsala that is served with tuscan mashed potatoes and pan roasted green beans ($15.99). i also thought thechickenwas good though a touch overcooked and the mashed potatoes had a nice balance of garlic. the "roasted green beans" were a bit of a disappointed, however. first, the name is a misnomer. it's really a vegetable medley of broccoli, mushrooms, carrots a few green beans. second, the pan roasting instills a stew-like texture eliminating most of the crispiness of the vegetables.

both servings were large and we both left with doggie boxes.

service: i would have to say our service this visit was on the low side overall. i did overhear a conversation that indicated that they may have been understaffed. on the other hand, i also suspect the fact that we were both dressed pretty casually (especially me!) and passed on drinks from the bar for once :) contributed to the lack of urgency. the wait time between the salad course and the main course was lengthy and water refills were slow in the making.

value: i mentioned the prices above which i consider in the ballpark for this kind of restaurant. the other menu items seemed resonable, as well. we were fortunate to have a $10 off coupon from a local coupon book so our ticket was about $25 before tip.

ambience: i like the atmosphere of bravo! even it is a bit "forced". no complaints here.

food: 7/10, service: 6/10, value 7/10 (much better if you have the coupon), atmosphere: 8/10

disappointing. the only good thing about my last visit to bravo was good service and a good caesar salad. i ordered thechickenbacon ranch flatbread pizza. it was like an extremely salty cracker. and it was overpriced. definitely will not be going back again.

great food despite it being a chain!. i'm genuinely surprised by the comments of those who dislike bravo. i've never had a horrible experience dining here. for it being a chain, i've always had consistently good food. i don't know if i'm just hitting it on the "right " nights, but i've never had to send my food back or have been sick afterward. for the price (don't expect to spend less than $20-$25/person, which unless you're a poor college student, is reasonable) , you get a generous amount of food, and it makes great leftovers! thechickenscaloppini and the insalata mista are the best dishes there, i think! and their martinis are wonderful!

absolute favorite resturant !. bravos is definatley one of my most favorite resturants! me and my ex used to go almost every friday night, and we became regulars there. i live in pittsburgh, so i usually always go to the waterfront location. the bread is always so amazing with the pepper and oil dipping. and everytime i go, i get the romano crustedchickensalad. it is always so amazingly good. during lunch i usually always try something new, the sandwiches are amazing as well. soup is very excellent. cons, i did have acouple times, were service wasnt up to my standards.. but you can get bad service at the classiest resturant, so i wasnt too upset in bravos in general. other than that, its a very clean, nice atmospheric resturant. i 100% give it 2 thumbs up, and 5 stars ! :)

olive garden is better. nice atmosphere, good service, mychickenwas cooked perfectly. that's where the positives end. the food was bland. the fried zucchini was the most pathetic i've seen - shoestrings consisting of mostly breading, and sometimes it was just breading. the zucchini must have disintegrated in the oil. don't waste your money on this appetizer... eat 'n park has better zucchini.

the side salads consist of little more than iceberg lettuce. my entree waschickenscallopini and i had to add salt - something i never do. that still didn't help much with the blandness. the linguini was oily. will not return.

i didn't wait too long.... before being seated. our "10 minute wait" ended up only being 4 or 5 minutes. this will end up being the only pleasant thing about this restaurant.
we were seated without any silverware and did not receive any until we asked our server as well as 4 other servers.; which was after our main course had been served.
we had our coats and hats back on (we had waited exactly 15 minutes) before someone thought that we may like something to drink, that we may even be there to order food and eat.
our server was a very strange girl, she only waited on us twice - she felt that it was more important to gossip with the other "sorority girl-ish" servers that had congregated around the bar.
the promised bread (as we called it), came only a few minutes before our appetizer - at this point we had been in the restaurant for almost 25 minutes. the bread that came was cold and the dish with oil and spices was nearly empty - it was as if we were eating the scraps from the other tables.
the appetizer that we had was horribly spicy, something that was not mentioned on the menu. we also had *cambells* tasting wedding soup that had little or no substance - most of it as broth.
i had ordered the wood-firedchickenmarsala. the dinner arrived almost 40 minutes into our stay. thechickenitself was wonderful, the seasonings put on top however, were not. the green beans weren't cooked all the way and far too dry. the mashed potatoes were just as disgusting, a instant-type of mashed potatoe mixed with a sour cream or some sort.
after all the waiting, the bad food, the horrible service, we weren't even offered desert. when we requested the desert menu our server rolled her eyes at us! needless to say we will never return to this restaurant and simone the hungry was very dissapointed!
