bravo cucina italiana

i know chuck already covered this restaurant, and i hate to be redundant. i’m just dying for a chance to embarrass my friends, and these photos frombravowill do just that! ( oh yeah, and i like the restaurant.). i absolutely love when a restaurant exceeds my expectations! i’ve gone tobravoat the waterfront before, only to be discouraged by a long wait and a crowded bar. on this particular occasion, ryan and i were meeting up with one of my favorite couples, molli and jason.

they serve some of the best herb bread paired with olive oil that i have tasted, and when the weather is good you can sit on the porch outside and enjoy the ambiance. 
i went there for lunch with my mum and tried the pastabravo(vegetarian) and tiramisu. both dishes were nice, service was good and overall a pleasant experience.

last night me and my fiancee went to thebravofor our 4 year anniversary in the waterfront in pittsburgh,pa where i had the worst expiernce in my life we were sat in a section with a waiter who had a table of 22 people and then another party of 5 we never recived our complimentary bread and when our appetizer finally came out we had to ask for our bread to be brough to the table we were completly ingored not only by our waiter but by the manger to she was rude and did not care to help or step up in any means to make her customers have a good experience at her restaurants we asked her to get us a new waiter when we recived nasty stares and felt very un comfortable that then took 10 to 15 mins for her to come to our table then she brough my fiancee diet pop when we asked for regualr pepsi so then he had to wait longer for the right drink then our meal came out and my meal look like this ...... burnt all are very black over done over cook and my fiancee crab cakes were burnt also. we paid our 50.00+ some bill and tip our waiter 9 dollars we wanted nothing more then to get outta that place it completly ruined our dinner, anniversary, our way we look atbravoas a professional business & restaurants and our mood i called the store this afternoon and talked to a nice manger chris who was willing to listen to me and apologize on behalf of his employees who clearly did not do their job last night & he also offered me gift cards so i could come in a try them one more time to deicied on if we will ever return there again with the new changes he said they will be making.

delicious food. friendly and down to earth servers. awesome cocktails. wonderful management.bravois the best place to eat for italian food. we had a server named roxanne, she was attentive, friendly, and funny. our food was incredible, had the chicken fra diavolo and was soooo good! will absolutely be returning to this location!

decent food, unacceptable service. though the food was fine, the service left much to be desired. first off, our waitress failed to bring us our complimentary when she had brought it to every other table she served. as one of our party had some food contraints, we asked a few questions about the contents of the zuppa del giorno (soup of the day) minestrone. our waitress confidently responded that the item did not contain any allergens in question. however, when the soup arrived, it was positively filled with an allergen that she assured us was not in the soup. after many more gaffes, we decided to speak to the manager after the meal. unfortunately, he simply made excuses and waved us off. not the way any self respecting establishment would treat a customer. may not return ifbravodoes not improve it's ways.

take out to die for. so during the super bowl all the pizza and wing places within 10 miles had a 2 hour wait. we happened to have gift cards from family to bravo. so we thoughtbravotogo....why not. we ordered online...super easy. we get our food home and it was....no words to discribe. the food was delicious. the desert was creamy and amazing. during the whole game my fiance who yells at the screen during football. thank youbravofor giving me a quiet football game. i will be eatting there....alot.

good and consistent.bravois one of the better places to eat all around down the waterfront. the food doesn't blow you away but the meals are always good and you get decent portions. service can range from excellent to ho hum. a couple of the servers act as though they gave up their life savings to wait on you where as others are pleasant and go above and beyond. i've learned who to ask to be seated with and who not to and thats not really a good thing

thisbravois on a downward spiral. just finished dinner here. it's clear that management has started to cut corners at this location, to save money, i guess. two examples: 1) they don't have lime juice at the bar. how you do run a bar without lime juice? 2) my meal was incorrect when it came out. i pointed it out to the server, but nothing ever happened to fix the problem. now, lime juice isn't a big thing and everyone makes mistakes, but, these examples are indicators of bigger issues. clearly management has started to cut corners. it makes you wonder what other corners they're cutting? what about in the kitchen? what about in the area of sanitation?

i used to be a semi-regular visitor. now, i'm done. dine at your own risk at this location!

disappointing. the only good thing about my last visit tobravowas good service and a good caesar salad. i ordered the chicken bacon ranch flatbread pizza. it was like an extremely salty cracker. and it was overpriced. definitely will not be going back again.

customer. holly and vicki, go above an beyond to welcome my family and friends when we dine. alwayas offering opinions on what is new on the menu, or ask if they can create a dish to our liking. the newbravobites during happy hour are great.

hatebravowith passion. hated it 10 years ago, tried again with group. tool 1.5 hours to sort out the check, they refused to split. everyone had bad meal but we still had to pay the required large party tip. complained to manager who was useless. staff were snooty (as they were 10 years ago in mcknight location). small salad, cup of soup, creme brule = $27 and attitude from staff. seriously, never going back! not even with free coupons.

one of the most beautiful restaurants in fredericksburg. the service and food were both great. we will addbravoto our list of favorite places to eat in the area.

meh. i've only been to thebravoonce, for my friend's 21st birthday.

very classy and spacious decor, it's definitely a nice place to eat. service was okay. the bread wasn't bad and they have some interesting cocktails (alcoholic and otherwise) worth trying.

my biggest problem, however, came with the entree. i had the spaghetti and meatballs which was good but nothing special - very seasoned sauce, but a rather bland and flavorless meatball. it was a very big portion which would have been nice if i enjoyed it more. it was also rather heftily-priced by my standards.

perhaps i'll revisit the place in the future to try more of their stuff, but the price will likely put me off revisiting them anytime soon.

awesome service!. what you would expect from anyplace calling itself a restaurant. as my wife and i walked towards the outer doors, there was someone there who opened and the door for us and said hello. as we walked up to the maitre d'/front desk, we were greeted immediately. they said it was about an hour wait (i think it was a fri. or sat.). that was ok since we had just come from firebirds with the same wait, but absolutely terrible service.bravosuggested we could wait at the bar, or even eat there if we chose. we decided to wait and have a couple of drinks. the bartender greated us right away, as well. he was very personable and asked us to let him know how our drinks were after we tried them. implying he might change them if they weren't to our liking. he also asked us if we would like to look at the menu while we were waiting. things were going great. i felt like we were totally being catered to. the inside of the place was very nice as well.

ok, i know this is getting long. but guess what? after just 15 or 20 minutes, our table was ready. we were led to our table by someone and told who our waiter was going to be. our waiter came shortly thereafter, and she was great. she was able to give appetizer suggestions and was very nice. she tended to us adequately without being overly bothersome. i felt it was just right.

and finally the bill. it was all very reasonable. cheap/inexpensive i would even say for what we got. the food was awesome, the drinks were magnificent, and the service was outstanding. i can't say enough about the service. i know it was only one night, but i hope it keeps up.
