ordered the grilled us black angus rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce and mashed potatoes, and it certainly did not disappoint. the ambiance was very chill and intimate, service and staff were on point and friendly. i will definitely be back!

i love the rib eye steak in medium, best to go with peppercorn sauce. yet tastes so good as it is. tender and juicy and a big chunk of 350g meat. the salad dressing is kinda sour, for me best suit the steak since i got the cheese sauce. cozy. dim lights. nearby our office. the place is huge. not crowded even during lunch time. service is great too. you can get more complimentary bread which i dont think its advisable to eat more than the usual if you’re gonna get the rib eye. we left the place all smiles and belly satisfied. btw, got another complimentary rib eye of the same quality and quantity (not less quality even if is a zomato gold complimentary dish) which is amazing. definitely going back there for a date night with my 1+1 food. we accepted defeat, ribeye steak won our hearts & tummy too :)

thoughtful and warm service--would return for the amazing waiters! great food--enjoyed the cheese platter, duck terrine, grilled prawns, and strawberry tart.

we enjoyed our late dinner here. we had their flank steak, it was tender and tasty. the gravy i chose was red wine gravy, it was good too, i mixed it with mushroom gravy. for the sides, i had mashed potato, also good. for starters, i had their french onion soup, really flavorful and oozing with melted cheese. the waitstaff assigned to our table (forgot his name) was very friendly, accommodating and even helped my friend with directions since he got lost, handed him the phone and he patiently gave him directions. good service indeed! we also stayed on after dinner just chatting, we were the only ones left. but they let us stay and were gracious to wait for us, though we told them they could go ahead and clear our table. but they said its okay and didnt bother us. we will surely be back!

the only reason for the 4 stars is the access to parking...but everything else was wonderful. from service to food to a great selection of wines this is one of the best restos in bgc for authentic french cuisine.

sagana french bistro, formerly sagana epicerie and bistro, is an oasis of tranquility in the middle of the busy bonifacio global city. who would’ve thought that net one building has a portal to classy and luxurious fine dining restaurant on its ground floor. a champion of farm-to family ideology for local produce, this restaurant extends their support for our local farmers while producing the best of french cuisine has to offer.

a shortage of ingredients isn’t possible for sagana, as they still have a lot of bandwidth to even sell wines and plenty of local produce for customers to have their hand on what our local farmers have been giving their life and dedication. we even spotted hineleban’s adlai, our favorite rice substitute!

very neat and with a little hint of garden-inspired interior make up the whole restaurant, with some few leaves draping from the ceiling.

sagana french bistro prides itself a french restaurant that promotes and uses the best quality, locally sourced produce while remaining true to the traditions and authenticity of french cooking.

food was good, but it felt super bitin (definitely not for the hearty filipino appetite) huhu! so because of the small serving size, i docked a star

what we ordered:
1. prawn bisque with cheese, seafood, and parmesan crisps: mmm this was just ok. the soup was nice and creamy but i felt the seafood didn't meld well with the soup flavor
2. grilled apahap with creamy tomato parmesan adlai risotto beurre blanc sauce: the local sea bass was really good (albeit very thin) but the risotto lacked flavor
3. crab and pumpkin ravioli with aligue sauce and salad: loved this! but again, super small serving size. five scoops and it was gone :(
4. beef brisket bourguignin style braised in red wine, smoked bacon and mushroom sauce: beef brisket was ridiculously tender. we paired this with ratatouille
5. grilled us wagyu beef onglet: this was supposed to be their star dish but i thought it fell short. steak was medium rare but felt kinda tough. salad was soggy. the fries, on the other hand, was just right

overall, would probably not come back without the zomato gold offer as it's pretty pricey

the ambiance is a+++, great for date nights. we ate here for lunch and went for pasta and steak. crab pasta is not too salty (borderline bland) but flavorful. the croquettes are a must try, and your man will definitely enjoy their meat offering. excited to be back!

a great place to meet and have dinner with friends!

we dined in during dead hours (4pm on a saturday.) and although they call it happy hour, the place didn't look happy - no music, a part of it near the restrooom had the lights off (maybe because someone was sleeping on the sofa) and it took some time for the staff to notice us when we came in. we were the only diners the whole time but two of the staff that were there cannot even pay attention to us (their eyes glued to their phones) but we're not complaining. medium well onglet with the mushroom sauce was almost heaven. food was great but service can be improved.

one of our fave restaurants in the metro (hands down).  we go back for our old time favorites and try their specials as much as we can. thanks, chef, and to the rest of the team, for always making us feel welcome every time.  see you again soon.

a+ service! servers are friendly, helpful, even funny at times.

i always order the flank steak here with red wine sauce. salad is also a great addition but the roasted vegetables side needs a bit more seasoning. overall, one of my favorite places in bgc.
