box burger

absolutely love box burger great spot for some casual dinning. i shamefully haven't actually tried any of the burgers myself but i've heard they are great off people that i have been there with. i've had both the pulled beef and chicken nachos. both were lovely and they aren't sparse on the toppings with is great. i've also tried the chicken taco which was delicious even though i got a few stares from the chefs for adding guacamole to it! the dirty fries and box fries are really tasty and are something a bit different to just the regular chips you would normally get to accompany your meal.

there is old style cocktails on the menu as well as some creative new additions all of which i have tasted have been amazing. as far as i know most weekends if not all they have a dj in the bar area. it's always buzzing and is a greatplaceto go for food and a cocktail before heading out for the night down the seafront.

sister restaurant to the very popular platform pizza which is right next door. you can get a cocktail at the bar in box burger while you are waiting on table to be ready in platform and bring it in with you when it is ready which is handy.

just off the dart, we spotted thisplacedirectly opposite the beach.

we decided to try it and boy was it a pleasent experience.

they had a variety of foods, and being vegetarian, they had many burger options which was to my surprise.

the atmosphere inside was great, playing tunes fitting for the experience.

had the veg burger, while my friends tried the mac n cheese burger and the smokey burger. all good choices.

the bar was stocked and had the locally made beers showing good support for their county.

the waiter was kind and kept in touch with our needs at adequate times during our lunch.

all in all. a good good experience and highly recommended.

excellent. food is spot on, great selection of beers, great location. staff were excellent, all were very friendly and attentive. both interior and exterior seating areas are really well done, nice laid back vibe about the place. used to live in melbourne and thisplacemade me feel like i'd been transported back there again. without doubt my favourite restaurant i've been to since i moved back to ireland.

thisplaceis a poor cousin of the platform pizza next door. theplacelooks good, and the staff are nice, but the food is average.

simply put... thisplaceis excellent! one of the best burgers around, great service, the staff are really good & friendly, nothing is ever a bother and it's such good value for money. we love going here, have brought lots of visiting friends and they all rave about it.

been to box burger a few times now and i have to say i've no complaints really nice burgers and great service. they have god variety on the menu too i went with my friend one of the days and she tried the ribs and really enjoyed them definitely would go recommend thisplaceto a friend !

this is my number one burgerplaceever!!! the food, setting, cocktails, service and atmosphere is all amazing! i went on a saturday night so it was really a busyplacewith a great atmosphere for a saturday night! i enjoyed the mexican burger which comes with a mini margarita!! the quality and flavour of food is lovely and there is a great selection on the menu as well as the cocktails menu! i can't recommend thisplacemore and if you are in bray it's a must!!!

box burger is a must visit for everyone! i couldn't recommend thisplacemore. their burgers are amazing, and they have so many different options. do watch out for the chilli burger, it tastes unreal but there is a real spicy kick! the dirty fries are a taste sensation, i am getting hungry just thinking about them. and definitely leave room for dessert, the mini donuts are just divine. so light and delicious. the group was so full yet still managed to get through 2 plates of these. a special mention must go to the cocktails. so creative and different to the norm, yet they do have all the classics as well. i would recommend the 'drumstick' (it tastes like a drumstick lolly) and 'the end of the line' (it comes with a shot of prosecco). i will most definitely be back.

we came here as part of a zomato meetup and we got to sample a lot of the menu! so much food! we tried the nachos first, many different types including the pulled beef, which was so tasty and the chicken and veggie. each dish was piled with: homemade tomato salsa, guacamole, sour cream, red chillies and cheese sauce. great nachos but  i would have preferred melted cheese not the cheese sauce. we then moved on to the burgers which were really creative and, again, full of flavour. the bacon and cheese and mexican burger were stand out menu items. the 'dirty' fries with pepper sauce and bacon were demolished by the table. so bad but so good. we finished off with some mini sugar donuts and soft serve ice-cream, i loved the ice-cream but the donuts were a little greasy for my liking.

previously, i had been here for brunch and had the huevos rancheros with chicken and black beans served on a warm wrap and i thought it was a really nice dish.

there is a great vibe here and great bar with cool cocktails. the music is loud and thisplacewould be great for a group night out orplaceto start your party before hitting the seafront.

excellent spot on bray seafront. was a lucky attendee of the zomatoe meet up here and it did not disappoint- top notch for cocktails and fare. sampled an array of food including tacos, fries, burgers and the mini donuts. the house red wine washed down the main course nicely! theplacewas hopping for a wednesday night! favourites were the cheese and onion fries and the bacon cheese burger but the spicey mexican burger was also divine! will defo be heading back- thanks zomatoe! karen aherne louise rob conway
