box burger

i was here as part of a zomato meet up and oh. my. god. we started off with a cocktail at the bar, i went for a bray bré (loved the name, we all repeat the dart voice...) it was perfect, not too sweet (which i find with most cocktails). then on to a few starters, every variation of nachos possible (kudos on the guacamole!) followed by some of the most incredible burgers i've tasted, i went for the classic cheese and eyed everyone's else burgers too but unfortunately, was much too full to try. definitely not too full for dessert though... freshly madedonutswith ice cream and chocolate sauce. heaven. definitely work a trip to bray. a walk on the beach followed by a burger. perfection.

box burger is a must visit for everyone! i couldn't recommend this place more. their burgers are amazing, and they have so many different options. do watch out for the chilli burger, it tastes unreal but there is a real spicy kick! the dirty fries are a taste sensation, i am getting hungry just thinking about them. and definitely leave room for dessert, the minidonutsare just divine. so light and delicious. the group was so full yet still managed to get through 2 plates of these. a special mention must go to the cocktails. so creative and different to the norm, yet they do have all the classics as well. i would recommend the 'drumstick' (it tastes like a drumstick lolly) and 'the end of the line' (it comes with a shot of prosecco). i will most definitely be back.

we came here as part of a zomato meetup and we got to sample a lot of the menu! so much food! we tried the nachos first, many different types including the pulled beef, which was so tasty and the chicken and veggie. each dish was piled with: homemade tomato salsa, guacamole, sour cream, red chillies and cheese sauce. great nachos but  i would have preferred melted cheese not the cheese sauce. we then moved on to the burgers which were really creative and, again, full of flavour. the bacon and cheese and mexican burger were stand out menu items. the 'dirty' fries with pepper sauce and bacon were demolished by the table. so bad but so good. we finished off with some mini sugardonutsand soft serve ice-cream, i loved the ice-cream but thedonutswere a little greasy for my liking.

previously, i had been here for brunch and had the huevos rancheros with chicken and black beans served on a warm wrap and i thought it was a really nice dish.

there is a great vibe here and great bar with cool cocktails. the music is loud and this place would be great for a group night out or place to start your party before hitting the seafront.

was here on the zomato meet up! and again i am in love! firstly we were treated to a choice of cocktails - i went for the end of the line - raspberry vodka type cocktail with a shot of prosecco!! the dream right there. then onto the food: we were spoilt once again. we had a selection of nachos to begin with my fave was the pulled beef one - so tender!! then onto the main event the burgers. best burgers by a mile and cooked beautifully. nice selection too, the chilli one has a good kick to it. we also had a selection of the fries all of which were lovely - particularly the dirty fries!! and finally dessert - minidonutsserved with ice cream and chocolate sauce. delicious. i'd highly recommend a trip out here!
