absolutely love box burger great spot for some casual dinning. i shamefully haven't actually tried any of the burgers myself but i've heard they are great off people that i have been there with. i've had both the pulled beef and chicken nachos. both were lovely and they aren't sparse on the toppings with is great. i've also tried the chicken taco which was delicious even though i got a few stares from the chefs for adding guacamole to it! the dirtyfriesand boxfriesare really tasty and are something a bit different to just the regular chips you would normally get to accompany your meal.

there is old style cocktails on the menu as well as some creative new additions all of which i have tasted have been amazing. as far as i know most weekends if not all they have a dj in the bar area. it's always buzzing and is a great place to go for food and a cocktail before heading out for the night down the seafront.

sister restaurant to the very popular platform pizza which is right next door. you can get a cocktail at the bar in box burger while you are waiting on table to be ready in platform and bring it in with you when it is ready which is handy.

popped in here over the weekend because i had heard great things! the detail that went into the restaurant itself is amazing. from the little stickers on every roll of toilet paper, to the mini burger jellies when you get the bill.. everything was so clearly thought out and it really pays off.

i got the cheese burger and sharedfriesand coleslaw. i'm sad to say, the burger didn't overwhelm me, the meat was a bit hard to cut through - not quite melt in your mouth standard. but the brioche bun and the speciality sauce were delicious. thefrieswere good also, and the coleslaw was divine - so fresh!

i would definitely come back to box burger if i was in bray more often, but i think the next time i'm back i'll have to give platform pizza a try instead!

the best burgers in ireland. with the mexican one they even serve a small margarita. the sweet potatofriesare very delicious. finally congratulations for the huge offer of laggers and gins. 🍻

burgers. who doesn’t love a burger. i know i love them. they go with lunch, they go with dinner and they most certainly go with 3a.m. after one or two (too many) pints. on a more sober note however, i had the pleasure of visiting. it’s a large space with a mix of seating options which include some comfortable booths that have their own speakers over the table. you can connect your phone directly to it and play whatever music you like, and charge your phone the same time. practical and genius. to kick of proceedings our table had a variety of nachos (€9.50). vegetarian, beef and chicken piled high with tomato, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, chillies and cheese sauce. a meal in themselves and if you are going with the added beef or chicken i’d say share them for a starter.

along with the nachos we shared some sweet potatofries(€4.50) which were divine i have to say and a decent portion size too. there was also a portion of boxfries(€4.50) which were served with onion, chicken gravy and cheese. now you may roll your eyes at that description but dear god they were filthy good. alas i didn’t get a picture of them. they also serve wicked wolf so of course some pints were had.

now onto the burgers. they are very reasonably priced at between €8.50 & €9.50 and for €3 extra you can addfriesor salad or coleslaw or onion rings. basically box burger have a burger to suit every taste. cheese, chilli, mexican, steak and egg, spinach and fish to name but a few.

they do say a picture tells a thousand words and you will be able to see from my snaps how the burgers were served. each burger is a 6oz pattie in a steamed brioche bun with standard toppings of lettuce, onion, pickle, mayo and mustard. you can of course omit any of these and have it to your own taste. they were full of meaty flavour had a wonderful caramelised charring and damn they were good.

we opted to cut some of them in half and try a bit of everything. while they were all good, my two favourites were the steak and egg and the bacon and cheese. as with the nachos the burgers are quite filling and i only managed to stuff about two of them into me. i did however take one to go in a little burger box in case i got hungry on the train. box burger is certainly worth a visit. it has a great vibe, serves beers and cocktails and was absolutely jam packed mid week (always a good sign). if burgers are not really your thing, they have you covered with their sister restaurant platform pizza which is right next door.

box burger is a must visit for everyone! i couldn't recommend this place more. their burgers are amazing, and they have so many different options. do watch out for the chilli burger, it tastes unreal but there is a real spicy kick! the dirtyfriesare a taste sensation, i am getting hungry just thinking about them. and definitely leave room for dessert, the mini donuts are just divine. so light and delicious. the group was so full yet still managed to get through 2 plates of these. a special mention must go to the cocktails. so creative and different to the norm, yet they do have all the classics as well. i would recommend the 'drumstick' (it tastes like a drumstick lolly) and 'the end of the line' (it comes with a shot of prosecco). i will most definitely be back.

we came here as part of a zomato meetup and we got to sample a lot of the menu! so much food! we tried the nachos first, many different types including the pulled beef, which was so tasty and the chicken and veggie. each dish was piled with: homemade tomato salsa, guacamole, sour cream, red chillies and cheese sauce. great nachos but  i would have preferred melted cheese not the cheese sauce. we then moved on to the burgers which were really creative and, again, full of flavour. the bacon and cheese and mexican burger were stand out menu items. the 'dirty'frieswith pepper sauce and bacon were demolished by the table. so bad but so good. we finished off with some mini sugar donuts and soft serve ice-cream, i loved the ice-cream but the donuts were a little greasy for my liking.

previously, i had been here for brunch and had the huevos rancheros with chicken and black beans served on a warm wrap and i thought it was a really nice dish.

there is a great vibe here and great bar with cool cocktails. the music is loud and this place would be great for a group night out or place to start your party before hitting the seafront.

excellent spot on bray seafront. was a lucky attendee of the zomatoe meet up here and it did not disappoint- top notch for cocktails and fare. sampled an array of food including tacos, fries, burgers and the mini donuts. the house red wine washed down the main course nicely! the place was hopping for a wednesday night! favourites were the cheese and onionfriesand the bacon cheese burger but the spicey mexican burger was also divine! will defo be heading back- thanks zomatoe! karen aherne louise rob conway

i went to box burger for a zomato meetup and i honestly can't say enough good things about the place. the interior is gorgeous with exposed brick work and plenty of space to sit and eat. we sat in a booth that gave us the option to plug in our phones and play music, which i've never experienced before! to drink i had the drumstick cocktail, which suited my sweet taste buds perfectly. the chicken nachos to start were really nice and light, not too heavy before the main course. the cheese burger and regularfriesrivalled many that i've tried; the meat was juicy and cooked to perfection and thefrieswere crispy and soft, not at all greasy. to finish we had mini donuts, which i could have eaten 100 of, even though i was full to the brim! they were as light as air and a really nice choice to finish the meal. i'd 100% make to journey out to bray to go to box burger again. it's right beside the dart station and i've recommended it to so many family and friends already.

was here on the zomato meet up! and again i am in love! firstly we were treated to a choice of cocktails - i went for the end of the line - raspberry vodka type cocktail with a shot of prosecco!! the dream right there. then onto the food: we were spoilt once again. we had a selection of nachos to begin with my fave was the pulled beef one - so tender!! then onto the main event the burgers. best burgers by a mile and cooked beautifully. nice selection too, the chilli one has a good kick to it. we also had a selection of thefriesall of which were lovely - particularly the dirty fries!! and finally dessert - mini donuts served with ice cream and chocolate sauce. delicious. i'd highly recommend a trip out here!
