this was the best meal i've had in a very long time! the duck leg appetizer was awesome! i shared acrawfishpie (so big!) which was the most delicious i've ever eaten! boyfriend got the trout-- superb! this will be a regular stop when we are in laffayette!

perfect meal.. great service, glorious food. moving to the area soon and will be back again and again.

ordered the sirloin caesar salad and both the steak and salad were perfect. husband gotcrawfishpot pie and it was gorgeous, very nice puff pastry and deliciouscrawfishetouffee filling. extra points for not over-salting. also? best crab cake i've ever had, from the appetizer menu.

the bananas foster bread pudding was a bit dense and didn't really taste like bananas foster, it would be better if it were lightened up and actual bananas foster served over a simple bread pudding, but it was still very good.

pleasant surprise!. went in for lunch with a friend and we were both surprised at the quality of the food. the service was great. the food came in a timely fashion and the garlic bread that was complimentary was entirely too tasty (if you know what i mean). one of the owners came by the table and seemed genuine when he asked how we liked it. i have already been back and found that the fresh grilled veggie sides are outstanding as the delicious entrees. i will be back and highly recommend. i can't wait to try the burgers ( which were huge) and thecrawfishpot pie.

great place. great service and great food. the boucherie plate is fantastic as are the stuffed porkcops. shrimp and grits are amazing.crawfishpotpie is great too.
we have been several times and while they are always busy, the service is always topnotch. another great lafayette dining option.

lots of potential here...give it a try!. my family and i decided to try bon temps grill since it is only a couple of miles from our house. this place has alot of potential! first of all, the staff was very enthusiastic and welcoming. our waiter was just a really nice guy who went out of his way to give good service (wish i could remember his name!). the menu has a lot of variety with some creative dishes which was a pleasant surprise. first, we were served this very garlicky bread which we all loved. my husband ordered the grilled fish and i ordered thecrawfishpot pie; we both got the zucchini and the jalapeno grits. my husband thought his fish was very good and seasoned well. mycrawfishpot pie was so big and not only looked beautiful but it was delicious!!! one minor problem was that it was just above lukewarm in the middle. when a lady came by (a manager maybe???) and asked about our meal, i told her about the issue and she seemed very receptive. now, we did find the zucchini to be disappointing...soggy and bland. also, the grits were very dry and just didn't have much flavor. however, with the eager employees and the excellent service i think the food will only get better! definately worth giving this place a try!

went here the other night with my wife and girlfriend, awesome atmosphere, but the music was way too loud...
i had the lobster pot pie and my wife had thecrawfishpoorboy. everything tasted microwave fresh! i would recomend this place to errbody.. i cant remember the servers name, but he seemed absent minded the whole time but the owners came and made sure the rest of the meal went amazing. keep it real guys!!!

tucked in quiet lafayette is this little gem of a cajun restaurant. i ordered the recommendedcrawfishpot pie and it did not disappoint, full of cajun spices and flavor it comes highly recommended.

today i ordered thecrawfishpie with jalapeño cheese grits and a kids fried shrimp with french fries through waitr. attached you can see what i received. i paid $30 for this food, and it was beyond disgusting. i am sad to say this because i have eaten from here before and loved it. i have ordered thecrawfishpie to go before, and it was not just thrown in like this. aside from how it was thrown in the plate, thecrawfishtasted so dirty! it was terrible! i couldn’t take more than 2 bites. the shrimp in the kids meal had breading coming off, barely any fries. just a total waste of money, on new years day at that. most definitely will never be going back. smh.

i have dined here on several occasions so unsure why i never reviewed it before.
the crunchy buttery garlic bread brought first is a slice of goodness. i had avery tasty lemon drop martini as well.
we had the boudin and sausage board but gasp the sausage came out cold and undercooked so we had to send it back. the issue was fixed and there were apologies all around for the error.
for the main dish we split thecrawfishpie, which i had before and is awesome and the shrimp and tasso pasta again a tasty choice.
in spite of the app error we thought it was a great meal and will be back.

different, interesting menu. gets lots of positive reviews. but i'm not a big fan. the food sounds and looks a lot better than it tastes. thecrawfishpie in particular is a disappointment. the grilled meatloaf, on the other hand, tastes better than expected. in my book, this restaurant is a bit of a disappointment.

this is one of those places that you cannot judge a book by its cover. i got the highly recommendedcrawfishétouffée pot pie and it was amazing. our waitress was also incredibly sweet and patient when we asked what things were. only downside? almost all sides are some type of potato. we were way too full for desserts, but all of the tables around us talked highly of them!

for my first dinner in lafayette, i wanted a restaurant specializing in fish, which was also highly rated. finding a fish restaurant here is like finding a mcdonald’s along the highway, but a good one is a little bit harder to find.  in these parts, there are even restaurants that are open only duringcrawfishseason, which i sadly missed by a couple of months.  you can still order crawfish, but it’s frozen or otherwise preserved from the march to june season.

totally enjoyed our meal at bon temps grill.  husband had perfectly cooked sirloin with the extra touch of garlic butter love on top.  i had thecrawfishpot pie.  loved the puff pastry top.   great server.  well done.

one of the top 3 meals i have ever had dining out. try the alligator , boudin and the amazingcrawfishpie.
