i have never had such a terrible experience.
it took about ten minutes to be served and when we finally were it was by a flustered waitress who made me feel as though i was a burden.
once we ordered we waited and waited and waited, when asking where our drinks were they told us they had forgotten them.
when ourmealscame out after about 45minutes they were cold! and the big breakfast was served with cold white bread!!!! i have never wasted so much money on such a foul meal.

i was promised a free dining experience as a mystery shopper after this...this was about 6 months ago and the owner has never followed up on her offer. not happy!!!

lovely place to sit by the ocean! primo food, fast and friendly service. so much choice on the menu and even though some things can seem a bit pricy you do get a decent serving for your money. i only ordered one of the cheapermeals($16 fish tacos) but it was quite decently sized and included fries too. will be coming back here next time i’m in napier!

called in, looked at menu. rang back later and asked for booking for 3pax next day, inside but with views.
arrived on time next day, table was exactly what i'd asked for. staff friendly, and helpful. drinks, menus, ordering andmealsserved - all very timely. staff were flat out bringing groups in and out due to weather but it all happened with smiling faces. the team here are well trained and happy in their work!!
food was very good, and as ordered. views and location brilliant. a really good experience!!
will certainly go back again if the opportunity arises.

thought this would be a nice place to eat on my friends birthday judging by the photos but boy i was wrong. ordered a seafood platter to share and instead of scallops they served mini dogs and chicken nuggets, wtf!! waitress tried saying they were extras but were trying to cover up the fact they were a replacement for the missing scallops. not very impressed. had a replacement meal of scallops but that was filled with rocket and onions and had no flavor. no offers of a complementary drink or meal, had to pay full price. i will never go there again. why would they have scallops in the secondmealsbut had none for the platter?? weird!

had a family lunch with 3 small kids.
allmealswere cold, completely cold and took an hour for the first course to arrive.
seafood was over cooked and was served unopened clams.
salads were greasy.
i don't believe they know what service with a smile means.
very expensive also just to top it off.
i must state this is first time i have ever left a review as we had such a bad experience

nathan. went for lunch with the family 4 kids and for 4 adults service staff good but had to wait for meal but worth the wait great value for money. was looking for some great seafood for a evening meal around napier only place was the broadwalk we booked lucky arrived with the gang again a wait but we ordered the antipasta for starters the fishermans basket for 4 and the cold seafood plate for 4 . themealscame out enough to feed a army but fresh and great . if you're in napier must go sit back enjoy and don't worry about the wait

omg - seriously, these guys are running a business in food, the service is not good, the food just as bad and the coffee yuk!!! food came out cold i had to send mine back, my companionsmealswere just as bad, how hard is it to cook bacon, eggs, hash-browns and tomatoes???? seriously these guys need to work on the chef's skills at cooking as this was just awful and i would be embarrassed to have cooked this food myself let alone charge high prices for it!!!! food was not true to what was stated on the menu either. :( stay away from this place if you want good service and good food & coffee. mcdonalds breakfast menu would be a better option.

we dined at here as a family on saturday night and had a great experience. only slight downside was our salt and pepper squid starter that was ok but under-seasoned and not very crispy, otherwise the whole experience was excellent. for once, we ordered from a kids menu and got fantastic, not rubbish - fresh, well-mademealsthat had time and effort put into them. our mains were absolutely delicious and the service was great, right down to the children'smealsbeing brought out nice and early with activity bags containing all the things guaranteed to keep kids quietly happy and entertained so mum and dad (and other diners) could relax and enjoy the evening. great family evening out and highly recommended for others looking for the same.

first of all i wish i had never gone there in the first place, the service was an absolute joke, the staff acted as though they did not at all want to be working they had an attitude problem, when asked about the menu the waitress responded ' i'm to busy, just wait' what!!!! i have never in my life experienced such rude customer service, the meal was not at all great, it took a while for the ourmealsto come out. overall the worst experience ever!!!! do not dine at boardwalk, the staff are rude and the food not up to restaurant standard.

taking kids out is always a challenge and i have to say the boardwalk certainly is doing a great job in this area. we went for lunch as a group of eight and the kidsmealsand goody bags were awesome. ourmealswere all delicious. a great spot - well done.

a pleasant night it was dinning out at boardwalk, loved themealscooked to perfection!!! i can not remember the last time i went out for dinner coming out satisfied, i enjoyed everything about boardwalk the service themealsand just the overall experience, i love going out for dinner now i have a favourite restaurant to become a regular at! top marks to the chef that cooked our meals
