blue boy sandwich shop

don't come here unless you are hungry. i had the reuben on a sub, but for a smaller portion get the round. blue boy is nothing fancy but if you want agoodsandwich at agoodprice rid is the place to go. while waiting for my meal someone had ordered the monster burger, it is appropriately named, and can easily feed 4. i'll definitely be back

monster sandwiches. the bullet: food-a,service-b,price-a,vibe-b. only come if you're hungry! i kid you not, we were there with about 30 other working folks and i didn't see a single one of them finish their sandwich. crazygoodand fresh. we ordered the super club and it will feed us twice.

absolutely fabulous sandwiches. well it's been awhile since i have eaten at blue boys and let me tell you in a word awesome. i ordered the big daddy and it was just that big. it has 3 1/4lb beef patties, caramelized (to die for) onions, a couple of fried eggs, jalapeno relish, american cheese, mozzarella cheese, and a ton of goodness. all of this is packed inside of some of the best homemade bread that is produced. fabulous and it will not be another year till i get back this time.

another fine job by the boys. well old faithful came threw again. wanting a change of pace i decided to go back to blue boys sandwich shop. the bread is awesome as usual and the sadwich is reallygoodtoo. now the place is nothing to write home about but if you want a verygoodsandwich on some killing bread go to blue boys.

i went here when i was a kid and got the pizza burger sub. i thought it was the must ridiculously enormous sandwich ever! but it was soogoodto me back then. i realized that i hadn't been there since i was a kid and i decided to go back for lunch with a few friends. i got the same sandwich i had as a kid. it looked the same, it smelled the same, and tasted the same. but i didn't realize how much my pallet changed over the years. i didn't like it. i decided to try again today and i got the steak egg and.cheese breakfast sub. same thing, i didn't like the flavors. i just realized that its just big cheezy greasy food that doesn't.have that much flavor :(

good food - not sogoodhours. if this restaurant stayed open more hours - a common issue with the downtown establishments - i would say this restaurant is downright fantastic.

a long-time favorite!. i've been a fan of blue boy ever since i could walk. it's everything you could want in a sandwich shop- delicious, huge sandwiches made fresh. tons of options and if you're in a lighter mood, they makegoodsalads as well. the staff is as friendly as they come and make everyone feel at home.

huge sandwiches on fresh, fresh bread. i'd almost forgotten about the blue boy but a visit today reminded me howgoodthis place is. it's about 400 yards south of i-95 on norwood avenue. inside it's clean with friendly order at the counter service and a vast menu.

for those with a lighter appetite choose from one of the rounds which is about the size of a central grocery muffaletta. otherwise the full sandwich deal is de rigeur. the steak and onion (order the hot peppers) is filled with thin slices of grilled steak, a bunch of grilled onions with sliced cheese on a huge and very fresh roll measuring about 10 by 6 by 2. it simply blows away any of those paltry offerings out of philadelphia and it is immensely satisfying. requires a 2 hour nap. with a refillable bucket of diet croak the bill was just shy of 10 bucks,
the cold sandwiches are ok but suffer from a commercial italian dressing.
