put in a group order for our lunch break. told 15 minute wait time that ended up over 45 minutes...paid extra for toppings we didn't receive,missed our lunch break,only to be told bring your sandwich back if you want a new one. saddest part is the owner was the rude employee. and is the same person who did not get the order correctly. we will choose another place of business for our catering from now on. save your money and choose a business that makes you feel valued.

i haven't been here in 15 years ...boy what have i been missing.... and i must say..blue boy is still the king !!!! undisputed king..subway and jimmy have lost a customer 4life!!!

don't come here unless you are hungry. i had the reuben on a sub, but for a smaller portion get the round. blue boy is nothing fancy but if you want a good sandwich at a good price rid is the place to go. while waiting for my meal someone had ordered the monster burger, it is appropriately named, and can easily feed 4. i'll definitely be back

as soon as i got out the car and walked to the front door, i smelled excellence. stepped in the building and couldn't decide what i wanted cause their entire menu looked enticing so i asked the cashier and she recommended their bestseller, the #8 steak. the aroma filled the car on the drive to the crib. sat down, opened the wrapper and a behemoth stared me in my face. this sandwich was huge!!! the bread was soft, the flavors were addicting and the sandwich was still hot as if i ordered it and dined in. if you like sandwiches and don't give this spot a visit, you're doing yourself an injustice.

monster sandwiches. the bullet: food-a,service-b,price-a,vibe-b. only come if you're hungry! i kid you not, we were there with about 30 other working folks and i didn't see a single one of them finish their sandwich. crazy good and fresh. we ordered the super club and it will feed us twice.

absolutely fabulous sandwiches. well it's been awhile since i have eaten at blue boys and let me tell you in a word awesome. i ordered the big daddy and it was just that big. it has 3 1/4lb beef patties, caramelized (to die for) onions, a couple of fried eggs, jalapeno relish, american cheese, mozzarella cheese, and a ton of goodness. all of this is packed inside of some of the best homemade bread that is produced. fabulous and it will not be another year till i get back this time.

another fine job by the boys. well old faithful came threw again. wanting a change of pace i decided to go back to blue boys sandwich shop. the bread is awesome as usual and the sadwich is really good too. now the place is nothing to write home about but if you want a very good sandwich on some killing bread go to blue boys.

as a jax native and sandwich lover i feel that blue boys has the best sandwiches in town. even after i moved away, i have to get a blue boy sammich when i visit.

i went here when i was a kid and got the pizza burger sub. i thought it was the must ridiculously enormous sandwich ever! but it was soo good to me back then. i realized that i hadn't been there since i was a kid and i decided to go back for lunch with a few friends. i got the same sandwich i had as a kid. it looked the same, it smelled the same, and tasted the same. but i didn't realize how much my pallet changed over the years. i didn't like it. i decided to try again today and i got the steak egg and.cheese breakfast sub. same thing, i didn't like the flavors. i just realized that its just big cheezy greasy food that doesn't.have that much flavor :(

this is the best place ever!!. where do i begin?? my mom has been going to this place since she was a little girl and has passed on the tradition to us. my mom passed away this year at the age of 55, but we would frequent this place every chance we could. the #8 steak sub add hot peppers is to die for! this is what we get everytime we come and have never been disappointed! i will pass on the tradition of eating here to my kids as well!

iate here 25 years ago and still eat here. the sandwiches are large and incharge , enough food for two or three meals . the french fries are crinkle cut and fried to perfection . gets crowded at lunch but worth the wait and the drive

good food - not so good hours. if this restaurant stayed open more hours - a common issue with the downtown establishments - i would say this restaurant is downright fantastic.

now that's a sammich!. grab one of the round sandwiches if you're looking to eat a little on the lighter side, but the real blue boy experience comes in a sandwich the size of a football! served on their own fresh bread, a large sandwich is a serious meal. plan on taking some home with you.

my particular favorite is their club sandwich, which is simply huge. the steak and cheese is also excellent, and they even serve equally-impressive breakfast sandwiches as well.

a very unique jacksonville original, blue boy is a must-try for any lover of the venerable, simple and delicious sammich!

because every once in a while you want a great tasting, greasy hamburger the size of your head. this place is a working man's dream - no fuss, no frills, just standard lunch grub and plenty of it. self serve drink refills ensure you'll always have enough

a long-time favorite!. i've been a fan of blue boy ever since i could walk. it's everything you could want in a sandwich shop- delicious, huge sandwiches made fresh. tons of options and if you're in a lighter mood, they make good salads as well. the staff is as friendly as they come and make everyone feel at home.
