good service, okay food. i had the curried sweet potato bisque which was spicy and flavourful and had a creamy texture. for an entrée, i had the local shrimp which consisted of acceptable shrimp topping a delicious mound of mashed potatoes surrounded by a blend of vegetables (mostly corn) in a tomato broth, and my dessert was cocoanut crème pie - a small round tartlet version, rather than the wedge shaped slice. all of my food was acceptable, but not exceptional. the governor had the iceberg wedge (he said the tomato had seen better days), the pork loin (excellent) served with spinach and dressing, and the peppermint brownie (not so good). the server chris did anexcellentjob, and the overall experience was good, and the restaurant week made it a good value.
