we hadgreatdining experience in black orchid. the resto bar is located at first floor. good crowd, nice ambience and insta worthy interior! the music was not too loud.

the best part is service. the staffs made us comfortable and service was super fast . coming to food, spicy salmon sushi and kunafi prawn were smaller in size. i really loved the grilled beef tenderloin with rosemary jus. it was so chewy and delicious. the cini stick mocktail (sugar cane base) was interesting. there is not much variety on menu but available items were really good. i felt that price could have been on lower side. the food quality was top notch. nice place to hangout with friends on saturday night.

one of my favourite places in town. the service is top notch especially mr.srinath is always a joy, such amazing service. you can visit this place just for the service. the food isgreatas well, the sushi is something we keep coming for. we dropped in on my birthday just to get the sushi. they did make my day better. the cheesecake is also sooo good. a must visit. a lovely ambience, beautiful lighting. can't wait to visit again. thank you black orchid and mr.srinath for making our every visit amazing !

it’s not a place you go to for the food - that’s for sure. the ambience isgreatfor drinking and having a good time but the food is a huge letdown. would recommend getting the lotus stem appetiser though. that was super yummy. everything else was average and nothing unique about it.

stopped in for dinner. had of couple of sushi & tacos and some bbq. appetizer was very good - wings spicy but not too spicy and the sushi’s were excellent. teppans weregreattoo.

highly recommended for their good selection of cocktails.

srinath was excellent and friendly, knowledgeable. the service was excellent, in spite of everyone’s continued vigilance regarding the covid.

i would return here often, better than most.

this is such a good place. the ambience is really beautiful. food and drinks are just mind blowing!! i would highly highly recommend this place to everyone!!! besides, staffs are very courteous, and special shoutout to srikanth, who did agreatjob!
overall, a fantastic experience. this place has all my heart and would definitely keep visiting in the future too. highly recommend their zu zu li cocktail, cauliflower kazule, thai green curry (definitely the best ever in town).

📍super approachable spot and a well traffic regulated locality with ample parking space to start with.

was scantily populated weekday evening, the entrance and interiors scream bespoke , elite.

the place has 2 levels with a sushi and teppanyaki on the entrance and cocktail 🍸🍹 lounge bar on the floor above.

the seating is spacious and comfortable with ambient lighting. there's courteous and helpful staff to light up the place better and help you with the menu if need be.

no they didn't pay me to tell this ! i actually loved the place and so did my friend !

very disappointed with the restaurant. i've been hearing a lot of talk about black orchid from people and wanted to try it out myself. there was nothinggreatabout the food, ordered crispy lotus stem - wasn't made right, the chilli powder dust was too much and very unevenly put on it and the dips that came along with it was from a bottle. ordered the fried calamari, again the sauce that came with it was from a bottle.
if i wanted to have things put on my table coming from a bottle, i could just stay at home and cook my own food. the 2 stars are for the sushi and the teppanyaki beef tenderloin, that was thoroughly enjoyed. the service staff could be better, even though it was a slow night, they should be waiting at the tables and not talking amongst themselves.
a piece of advice, if you're serving something from the microwave, don't put it where the guests can see it or hear it, nobody wants microwaved food.
ps : will not recommend people to try out the place nor am i coming back to dine there. honestly disappointed!

agreatplace in happening spot of the town with amazing drink options, andgreatfood that comes with it. we went out to check out their japanese special menu and it was everything and beyond on what we were expecting.

everything we tried was flavourful. special mention to sushi,crispy california 4, chicken teppan, mutton sukka tortilla , rock shrimp tempura, pork sausages, caramel cheese cake and brownie.

post lockdown we decided to head out for a relaxed ladies night / evening at 6ish (thanks to the government imposed timing restrictions). we ordered a whole bunch of starters along 2 jugs to share. one sharing pitcher that was white wine sangria and second pitcher being a vodka based cocktail. what we really enjoyed about the cocktails were the fact that the mixologist used seasonal fruits and herbs to create a unique blend and seasonal menu, a fact that subbu (our table host) that explained to us in a detailed manner and with a lot of interest. the white sangria had fresh rose petals, apples and juicy honeyed orange bits creating a lovely medley with a good pour of white wine and brandy. the bloody orange cocktail had a nice citrus blend with whole slices of blood oranges (all the way from bengaluru) along with herbs and other secret specials all the way from kothagiri.

for sushi we ordered the salmon maki, crispy california rolls. the sushi wasgreatand perfect in texture and taste.

we ordered the mutton chukka tortillas (this we especially loved) ordered it thrice...so go figure... the spicy mutton was balanced by the crunchy tortilla base and made for a nice mouthful bite.

we ordered chilli chicken (greatin taste and spice). it was spicy and comforting to eat.

we ordered the spicy pork sausage with colored capsicum (this was nice and spicy).

we ordered the chicken satay and the mince chicken kebab skewers. (not asgreatas their predecessors but well prepared)

in prawns we ordered the tempura fried prawn skewers. this was light, crunchy and delicately coated with panko crumbs. this was good too.
