absolutely amazing!. i highly recommendbistrobaffi to everyone who wants to enjoy an absolutely out of this world meal for a very much down to earth price. i've been treating myself with chef michael's food for years now, and it was perfectly cooked and amazingly tasty every single time. the authentically made tiramisu is a must! the service is fantastic, fast, and efficient. it always feels like every guest is getting special attention.
last but not least, an evening spent in the ultimate mediterranean ambiance thatbistrobaffi provides is so relaxing and uplifting that it loads my batteries every time. it feels like i spent an evening in northern italy, but is way more affordable then that.

the specials..... i have eaten atbistrobaffi a few times and have really enjoyed the experience. from the showing of the food and full explanations of each dish, to the table visit by the chef it is truly a fun dining experience. you feel like a regular in an old charming italian town. we were there on a tuesday and asked what was fresh that day. both our waitress and the chef recommended the new york steak they had just gotten in, they promised it would melt like butter in your mouth and it did not disappoint. the steak was huge too, had plenty to take home. the penne pasta side in pink sauce was also very good, and made a good lunch the next day. they do not rush you out the door so it is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a real meal, not a mass produced menu. we also had the halibut and they explained the preparation so well i was able to recreate it at home, but not quite as delicious as they did, but close. the service was attentive but not intrusive, very professional. lets try to keep this secret delight a little secret between us.

best italian food ever!. we drove all the way from kirkland, after seeing the mystery diners episode about chef michael. the restaurant is cozy and elegant, and the paintings are truly amazing. our server was very knowledgeable describing probably 15 or more specials on two separate trays. i had homemade venison cannelloni that literally melted in my mouth. my husband ordered the rib eye steak that was cooked to perfection. for dessert we had tiramisu and it was, indeed, light and fluffy just as the server described it! for the after dinner drink ,we enjoyed 20 years old port wine, that was unlike any other port we ever tried before. a little pricey , but very well worth the money. we can't wait to come back and bring our friends tobistrobaffi!

wonderful food but....bistrobaffi, a small, romantic italian restaurant located in burien, came across as perfect. the warm environment, is so romantic. the servers were very professional, presenting numerous items to us with such ease. our service was phenomenal. the food was some of the best as well, but sadly we will not be returning tobistrobaffi. there was a tall brunette; lead server i might assume? who was painfully loud and negative while we tried to enjoy our meal. she yelled at one of the servers right in front of our table, rather than taking her into the back to talk to her as a leader might have done appropriately. in the kitchen, i could hear the chef yelling as well. like i had said previously, the food and service was outstanding, but the leaders in the restaurant made us feel so uncomfortable due to the blatant disrespect they showed their employees, we will not return. the tall brunette lady needs to be removed from the staff permanently, i believe, because it seems like a very unstable work and customer environment.

happy valentine's day!!  we celebrate ours a day early to avoid all the hubbub and the disappointment of florists running out of red roses, like this post . my husband took me out, but didn't tell me where we were going.  he was adamant we leave by a certain time.  i knew we were going out to dinner, but he usually doesn't rush.  so i thought maybe we were going to a theater or dinner and a show.  instead it was dinner from a show. :)  a few days ago, we were watching tv and mystery diners from food network came on.  the restaurant featured was from burien, wa, so we decided to continue watching it.  the restaurant is calledbistrobaffi and i started laughing when i found out that's where we were dining. as soon as we walked in, we recognized one of the servers from the show and chef michael was walking around talking to customers.  he was even delivering food and showing specials.  he disappeared when it started getting busy. our server happened to be stacy, whom we are pretty sure i

what a find!. from the moment we walked in, it was a wonderful, memorable experience. it's a little out of the way, and not what you might expect (in a really good way). we were immediately greeted by the warm and friendly staff and were lucky to get a cozy table by the fire. since this was our first time, we looked to our server for guidance and suggestions. we eat out quite often and i have to say it is often the service that disappoints. this however was not the case. our server, stacey, knowledgeably walked us through the menu, offering suggestions with expertise and and flair. we started with the stuffed-mushroom appetizer followed by the caesar salad, and finally for me the succulent scallop entree. my husband had the fillet which he said was the most tender and flavorful steak he's had. everything was delicious! our server was also extremely helpful in choosing a wine which perfectly complemented the meal. the food was amazing; the ambiance warm and inviting; however...it was the service that put the entire experience over the top. i can't recommendbistrobaffi enough. go tonight and ask for stacey, you'll be glad you did.

you won't be disappointed. my husband and i go tobistrobaffi several times a month. chef michael is always so friendly and the food is amazing. our favorite is the clams rockefeller and the spaghetti pescatore. simply yummy. i highly recommend coming here.

raymondn. i have often dined atbistrobaffi, the service and the food are consistently amazing! i live the burien area - to have a food establishment of this quality so close is a real treat. if you never been tobistrobaffi it is worth seeking this gem out.

great italian cuisine experience. i was raised italian and seldom like eating out for italian because it never compares to my families amazing italian cooking. the local grocery store manager told us about thebistrobaffi, which we hadn't noticed for all the years we've lived nearby because it is tucked away in a quiet corner that you hardely see. thebistrobaffi has a calm/joyous atmosphere that makes you want to just sit and relax even when you're done with your meal. my husband even missed the first 1/2 hr of the mariners game tonight because he wasn't in a hurry to leave! (unheard of!) my husband and i loved the lasagna napoli and shrimp scampi with pasta. we were too full to have dessert but i plan to eat a little less next time and have one of their incredible looking desserts. we were checking out all the dishes being delivered to the tables next to us for our next visit. we saw two group party areas. there were four birthday parties going on while we were there and each time the chef and the waitresses all came over to sing a cheerful happy birthday (in very good tune i might add). if you don't like italian they had lots of fresh fish and steaks too. we'll go back very soon. it's at 15217 21st sw, in burien (seahurst) area. use your gps or you might miss it! their phone number is 206-244-0737 if you can't find them! no, i'm not related, i just really like to compliment those who provide good food and a comfortable eating environment for us to relax after a hard working week. enjoy! marilyn

bistro baffi takes care of their regulars. we go tobistrobaffi every three or so months knowing that we will be guaranteed an amazing meal with friends. what amazes me is that every time we show up the staff know our names and treat us like royalty. the food is outstanding. the service is close to perfection as one can get. at the end of the dinner they always are free flowing with the digestifs. we always order off the special plate. chef michael hand shops for the seafood and vegetables to create really unique and fantastic dishes. it is amazing that this little find is tucked away in burien.

last night was an exceptional night and i felt strongly that other people needed to know what the team behindbistrobaffi are willing to do for their patrons. we were close to the last folks in the restaurant when they received a call from one of their regulars. the call was indicating that the regular with their party was well over an hour late for their reservation. despite the time chef michael and his staff stayed late to greet the party. they continued to work late in the night to make sure that every one of their patrons was treated to the impeccable combination of service and fantastic food.

my favorite restaurant...hands down!. my husband and i go tobistrobaffi on average once a week. we have been long time customers going all the way back to the beginning days of the beach house (which i still call it), with the plastic tables and chairs. what you are sitting on doesn't matter when the food you are eating is absolutely delicious.
i have to admit that i couldn't tell you half of what is on the menu...it makes no difference to me...tim's special is by far my favorite, and what i order 99% of the time.
i can't say enough about the homemade bread with the fresh basil dipping sauce and caesar salad...the crouton are to die for!
i also can't say enough about the service. aside from the fact that they know us pretty well, the service continues to be efficient, accurate and super friendly! dinka, kat (kiki) and the rest of the gang are fantastic! it's like one big family.
that being said, i am certain we will be going there tonight. so if you were planning on going for that 6:30 reservation...sorry!

wow! i can't believe the review beneath mine. that's shocking!! i've had nothing but great experiences atbistrobaffi with michael and his staff. they are very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. whenever we go it's for a special occasion, bdays. my 12 year old granddaughter even chooses to go here for her bday! were greeted like long time friends. we like the banquet room where it's very warm and cozy. kat has taken care of us almost every visit. she even knows our preferred drinks appetizers and desserts. they have great wines by the bottles and cocktails are delish!! we all ordered off of the specials trays! absolutely a-ma-zingggg!! the filet melts in your mouth and all the seafood is so fresh! some would say pricey, i say when it's that good price doesn't matter =d michael and his staff sang happy birthday with a tiramisu! all in all just a wonderful time to spend with your loved ones!

best food and best service. i took my family tobistrobaffi and we all loved it! the service was enthusiastic, helpful and non invasive. nothing is too much trouble. the wine and the dinners we enjoyed were so good! i lovebistrobaffi's exceptional sauces - wonderful blends of flavors perfectly balanced for rich, delicious taste. everything was perfect in this small, hidden jewel of a restaurant.

excellente!. just had a wonderful meal atbistrobaffi! started with the stuffed mushrooms - awesome! we all had different meals and they were all excellent! the wine i requested they didn't have but the chef/owner suggested a replacement and it was good. we had a couple of desserts and limoncello to finish things off and a good time was had by all.

my new favorite restaurant. my sister and i took mom for her birthday diner tobistrobaffi. we wanted to impress her with our new favorite restaurant . mom decided to try the fillet mignon wrapped with prosciutto. my sister and i both had risotto with sea bass and asparagus with their famous "pink sauce". we ended our meal with tiramisu anc chocolate garlic cookie. mom couldn't believe how tasty everything was. she loved the food, but when the chef came out to say hi, she was really tickled.
