when we feel like heading out for a drive to a nice waterside pub, this is where we usually end up, unfortunately the food has never been great here! but we do like the setting.

service is pretty good and i do like their hot veg andsaladbar, the vegies are simple but always good! don’t see too manysaladbars around anymore!

we ordered the seafood platter to share, it’s reasonable value, but it’s not great. the fish was mushy and oily, the calamari was tender but you could still taste the raw flour, the prawn skewers were overcooked, killer oysters were okay and i believe the tartare was straight out of a jar. oh my.

we still keep returning because we just like it and maybe, one day, we will get a good meal here!

schnitzel was ok. thesaladbar was a nice accompaniment. friend swears by it. service was friendly. i am not sure i would come back on my own accord.

recommended by a local to try this out and glad i did. generous serves with choices of thesaladbar or roasted vegetables. i had the scotch fillet with mash and struggled to finish it.
lovely helpful staff, quick service and busy on a tuesday night.

lady cashier was rude and terrible service. food was average, nothing fantastic and the steak was overcooked. waiters were constantly eye-ing on us when we went for thesaladbar.

not exactly vegetarian friendly (minimal options) let alone vegan friendly (no options-unless you getsaladadapted for still $17!!!) almost everything on menu is deep fried.. see the menu online for yourself!
so don't come here if your vegan or vegetarian or overly health conscious. but go if you want a drink over looking the port river, if you can get a table outside.

great service, lovely location. had a seafood platter and especially enjoyed the oysters, prawn skewers and squid. not as impressed with the battered fish and chips, so it's very much down the middle. enjoyed thesaladbar as well - i always love those!

had the wagyu rump steak. it was excellent. cooked to perfection.saladbar is of a high quality and staff were attentive and pleasant. thank you!

such a great place to eat, awesome out door deck with beautiful outlook over the port river. great menu with heaps of variety, really goodsaladbar and friendly staff. highly recommend.

nice food at the port. have been there twice. tried the fish of the day and the chicken curry. the curry was too spicy for my wife, but i liked it a lot. the fish of the day was very good each time. thesaladbar is also good. it's a nice place, especially if the weather is good and you seat outside, at nice place and with good quality food. will there again.

went back for a second time and still didn't perform. i heard such good things about this place so i went to check it out.. and was not so impressed. food is well priced, menu sounds fantastic but it just doesnt deliver.

i decided to go back again to prove to myself that it was just bad luck the first time, so i booked in for a group of 18 for my birthday. once again, food is a good price for all those on a budget but it just isn't regular pub standard.. food isnt fresh and they seem to be aiming too high for their cooking ability.

the staff are all very nice, it has a great view and nice styling outside but the inside looks a little outdated and thesaladbar is pretty terrible. i'd go back if i just wanted a quick, cheap, not great quality meal but there are much better places close by.
