pizza to die for!. thepizzadough, and the sauce, and oh yeah, the cheese are amazing. alfonse is without a doubt a guy who knows his way around dough. the texture of thepizzadough is incredible, and it is without a doubt the bestpizzawe've ever had. my wife likes the other dishes as well, but for me it's either pizza, calzone, or the italian hoagie. if i haven't made it clear, the dough is incredible. what a wonderful family restaurant, and i forgot to mention, italian beer to go with your italian food! you cannot get any betterpizzathan this. nom nom!

this place is fantastic! you can never go wrong with thepizzahere, but if you're in the mood for something else order the bella napoli pasta special. it is only $13.50 and it comes with a wonderfully prepared salad, fresh baked bread and more pasta than you can eat in a sitting. i usually order it and have the leftovers for lunch the next day.
the baked ziti is amazing and all of the other pastas that come in the sampler are to die for as well. not to mention the family that owns this restaurant are all very nice and fun to make conversation with.

soggy watery pizza. i went to this pizzeria because of very good reviews but i had the worstpizzamarherita. i would call it insteadpizzaaquata con mozzarella invisibile or waterypizzawith invisible mozzarella. nothing like the pictures show. it is a bland sauce and by the time i got it home it was a soggy mess. the owner argued with me on why it looked like that instead to change the monstrosity she put in front of me. speaking in english in the midst of speaking italian showed the lack of respect for customers.signora la vostrapizzanon e' napoletana me e' unapizzache soffre di autenticita' scuse che voi avete detto non cambio il prodotto la miapizzaera aquata e la mozarella la era inondata e senza sapore.

this was a pretty good spot for american italian. place was clean and the lady running the place was very nice. i am a big stromboli person and theirs was definitely good ... $10 for a small but small would be enough for two. the big thing that i thought made them good was the dough, the ingredients seemed high quality also. it had a little bit of a unique taste than the norm as these were really dry on the outside, like flour i'm guessing but it was good. i had the bella flavor which was green pepper, mushroom, pepperoni, sausage and i believe onion. i would definitely like to try more from the menu. i didn't try thepizzabut i saw it up close and it looked good also.

i'm a lucky guy.... i've tried several local italian places which left a lot to be desired. i cook better than most of them and that's problematic. as this is in a food lion strip mall right around the corner i overlooked this gem for years and only tried it the other day for lunch. thepizzamargherita was light as a feather, cooked as close to verapizzanapoletana standards as i'll ever hope to locally. i look forward to exploring their menu more fully in the near future...il cibo è eccellente!

best subs in tidewater. carmella & salvatore make the best tasting subs in suffolk if not all of tidewater. great bread selection especially the panini! great salads, pasta &pizzain the classic napolitan style. you'll love it!

excellent!. this is my family's favorite italian restaurant! thepizzais outstanding, the meatball subs....so delicious! i can't say enough about how wonderful this place is! the staff is very friendly and the prices are great! you must eat there!!

very good food & service. small restaurant with great food and service. i try going at least once a month since i work close by. this is a small place so sitting can be very limited especially during lunchtime. they have a wide variety of things to choose from. theirpizzaand pasta dishes are pretty good too. the prices are also reasonable.
