pizza to die for!. the pizza dough, and the sauce, and oh yeah, the cheese are amazing. alfonse is without a doubt a guy who knows his way around dough. the texture of the pizza dough is incredible, and it is without a doubt the best pizza we've ever had. my wife likes the other dishes as well, but for me it's either pizza, calzone, or the italian hoagie. if i haven't made it clear, the dough is incredible. what a wonderful family restaurant, and i forgot to mention, italian beer to go with your italian food! you cannot get any better pizza than this. nom nom!

i haven't even received my food yet but this place is amazing already. just sitting here listening to the couple who run the place laughing and playing in italian with each other.

this place is fantastic! you can never go wrong with the pizza here, but if you're in the mood for something else order the bella napoli pasta special. it is only $13.50 and it comes with a wonderfully prepared salad, fresh baked bread and more pasta than you can eat in a sitting. i usually order it and have the leftovers for lunch the next day.
the baked ziti is amazing and all of the other pastas that come in the sampler are to die for as well. not to mention the family that owns this restaurant are all very nice and fun to make conversation with.

very very good pizza. small eat in area but the food is amazing. the spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs is some of the best in hampton roads. will definately return for the pizza.

soggy watery pizza. i went to this pizzeria because of very good reviews but i had the worst pizza marherita. i would call it instead pizza aquata con mozzarella invisibile or watery pizza with invisible mozzarella. nothing like the pictures show. it is a bland sauce and by the time i got it home it was a soggy mess. the owner argued with me on why it looked like that instead to change the monstrosity she put in front of me. speaking in english in the midst of speaking italian showed the lack of respect for customers.signora la vostra pizza non e' napoletana me e' una pizza che soffre di autenticita' scuse che voi avete detto non cambio il prodotto la mia pizza era aquata e la mozarella la era inondata e senza sapore.

very authentic !. i have only eaten in one other place that has served authentic italian pizza and that was in apex n.c.

good pick in churchland/western branch/suffolk area. we eat here once a month if doing take out. i like the chicken marsala and hubby likes baked ziti. the salad that comes with the meal is really great!

not my kind of place. i stopped by there for dinner and wasn't impressed. food was ok but nothing to make me want to try it again. very nice employees.

this was a pretty good spot for american italian. place was clean and the lady running the place was very nice. i am a big stromboli person and theirs was definitely good ... $10 for a small but small would be enough for two. the big thing that i thought made them good was the dough, the ingredients seemed high quality also. it had a little bit of a unique taste than the norm as these were really dry on the outside, like flour i'm guessing but it was good. i had the bella flavor which was green pepper, mushroom, pepperoni, sausage and i believe onion. i would definitely like to try more from the menu. i didn't try the pizza but i saw it up close and it looked good also.

what a little gem!. my husband and i have been wanting to try this place but since we both cook and do it really well we don't eat italian food out very often. but this place was such a happy find! we had fried calamari and a salad. the fried squidies were in a nice dredge but a little chewy but the sauce was amazing!! we also split an order of eggplant parm that was really delish!! the eggplant was not massively coated in bread and fried to death resulting in a hockey puck. these were delicate and tasty and once again the sauce was amazing!! we will be back!!

i'm a lucky guy.... i've tried several local italian places which left a lot to be desired. i cook better than most of them and that's problematic. as this is in a food lion strip mall right around the corner i overlooked this gem for years and only tried it the other day for lunch. the pizza margherita was light as a feather, cooked as close to vera pizza napoletana standards as i'll ever hope to locally. i look forward to exploring their menu more fully in the near future...il cibo è eccellente!
