the besttandoorichicken and fried fish in amritsar. if u are a foodie and u are in amritsar u just cannot miss eating here. amazing food. we orderedtandoorichicken and fried fish and just relished it. the best part is u can see your food being cooked outside as the cook prepares your food on a live tawa and frying pan.

damages to the pocket- rs 800 (approx us$ 12 )

overall rating - 4 on 5 stars.

theirtandoorichicken is full of flavours, you feels the chicken melt in your mouth, the smoky flavour of the tandoor..its just mouth watering.. ordered shahi paneer withtandooriroti and they were equally delicious..

beera chilli corner on majitha road not too far away from makhan is another famous outlet for non vegetarian food lovers. this place isn't fancy if that's what you are looking for as the ambience is pretty average with a small seating though it seems they are now trying to expand, add more seating. i ordered the famous roast chicken and i can vouch it's one of the best quality chicken i have had. the chicken is well spiced and marinated and cooked well in tandoor and unlike mosttandoorichicken this does taste different and unique. it can beat a lot of places when it comes to roasted chicken and that's what still keeps this small outlet amongst the best in amritsar. what enhances the taste of the chicken is the mint chutney served along with onions, cucumber and lemon.

visited on 23 may, highly overrated place, unhygienic conditions, very poor seating arrangements, tandoorichicken was just ok, salad was served in a very shoddy manner, so called butter chicken was no where near, it was brown masala chicken, to top it all the chicken was undercooked and found a hair in the curry, both waiter and the owner had casual attitude as if didn't matter, wouldn't recommend at all

i have heard a lot about this place in the various blogs. couldnot get time to be here even its just a km distance from the place i am putting up. finally went there today. i will first rate it and then give my genuine review.
ambience-2.5
service-4
food-4.5

ambience issue exists in almost all the good places that serve street food. so i will not worry about that(provided hygiene is maintained)
we ordered fish, tandoorichicken. fried fish was good. i wouldnt called it the best fish fry but it was good enough to settle my taste buds. then came the muh awaited beeras famoustandoorichicken. it was too fresh and melted in the mouth itself. i like my chicken to be thready and it was full of threads. the chutney was one which is usually served with fish. i guess anardana was put in it. it was good. but still in my list of besttandoorichicken is billa chicken in old amritsar..

waaaohhh...what great food!!! we three ordered chicken roast full and butter chicken gravy full with threetandoorirotis....and the preparation was so yumm...roasted chicken was utterly delicious...we got tired at the end with the quantity...sumptuos...

beera chicken house is a must visit for all lovers of tandoori/roast chicken. the ambience is basic but the food is out of this world. we had the famous roast chicken which is succulent, delectable & finger-licking delicious - the spices & flavour were excellent & very different from any othertandoorichicken we ever had. the chicken keema paratha was delicious as well. must haves if you want to relish
excellent chicken fare in amritsar city. putting this on my food-map for more visits when in the city again.

so as i mentioned i visited amritsar last days and also had food at many joints.

beera was highly recommended with one of our fried from amritsar itself, but the food here was hopeless.

the amritsari fish was not amritsari as we have been eating, the butter chicken was just a watery chicken curry, thetandoorichicken was roasted chicken even we asked while ordering, the butter nan was horrible....

all in all not had a good experience,

however best wishes

this is one of the most recommended non-veg restaurants in amritsar and the food won't disappoint. the amritsari fish fry was excellent. the chicken tikka with gravy was also delicious. the roast chicken was good, but thetandoorichicken from charming chicken was much better. if you are a chicken lover, then beera is a place that you should visit, other than charming chicken of course.

this place is on the list of best food joints in amritsar . keema naan &tandoorichicken will not disappoint you .
they have a family hall inside but usually i prefer to eat in my car .
i checked their kitchen . everything is freshly prepared. gravy items are also delicious.

fantastic. the best fried fish andtandoorichicken in amritsar. unlike other overrated restaurants with "buttery" names this is the real deal. been once, will go twice and if possible will come to amritsar only for beera. ok there is a slight problem, it's not fancy, it doesn't have a buttery restauranty feeling but the two items i have mentioned are lip smackingly good. i suggest that you stop by at beera try these dishes and go wherever you want to complete your meal. no regrets, i guarantee you.
