we ordered mutton tikka -succulent mutton pieces, tandoored to the perfection and wrapped in aluminium foil. the mutton was perfectly boiled - one could sense the smell of coal from mutton as well.

price: rs. 400 (enough for 3 people, around 200-250 gm mutton)

dwe also ordered butter chicken. normally, many restaurants serve a sweetish chicken dish as butter chicken but this was not like this. the dish was made with whole spices (medium level) and topped with amul butter. the chicken was juicy and soft. the curry was very very tasy and went extremely well with plain naan.

price: rs. 350 per half plate (enough for 3 people)

this is the place to be when in amritsar. we ordered, amritsari fish tikka, chicken roast, malai chicken gravy and keema nan. the nan was of supreme taste, stuffed with keema n very very filling. the fish tikka had to be the best one i had in a very long time served with their special green chutney and onion. the chicken was also roasted to perfection. the price was reasonable considering the quality they provide. the staffs were also very courteous. a must recommended place to visit n don't get distracted by its average ambience.

the best tandoori chicken and fried fish in amritsar. if u are a foodie and u are in amritsar u just cannot miss eating here. amazing food. we ordered tandoori chicken and fried fish and just relished it. the best part is u can see your food being cooked outside as the cook prepares your food on a live tawa and frying pan.

damages to the pocket- rs 800 (approx us$ 12 )

overall rating - 4 on 5 stars.

one of the oldest places in amritsar offering non vegetarian.. i did like the keema nan and tandoori chicken but its a tad bit overrated .. makhan. serves better food ... however beera is quite pocket friendly

who could guess that this simple looking place would serve the juiciest roasted chicken i've ever had?
the chicken has a dry spice rub and was roasted in a tandoor which made it soft and tender. the meat simply fell off the bones and melted in the mouth leaving a trail of flavours.
incredible experience!

beera chicken , i heard this name for the first time after it was featured in the famous highway on my plate on ndtv good times.ever since i ve been craving to visit this place, having missed visiting it while being in amritsar on a couple of occasions. it is located on the majithia road and the place is easy to spot after crossing the trillium mall.
there is not much to write about the ambiance of this place. the eatery is divided in two sections owned by the same family with very limited and ordinary seating. so it is recommended you order the food while sitting in the car and they will willingly serve you,or you can just get the food packed for a take away.
we ordered a mutton champ and a portion of chicken tikka, and as soon as i took the first bite i knew why beera chicken is immensely famous. the mutton champ had crispness from outside and was extremely flavorful. the chicken tikka was succulent and spiced to perfection. the tangy pudina chutney and lemony onions made a great accompaniment. later had a keema naan which was served with gravy and was loaded with butter. it was amazingly delicious.
t o be honest, you will miss something if you do not visit beera chicken while visiting amritsar. go to this place and be assured that the awesome non veg food will pull you back towards it.

must try: mutton champ
chicken tikka tandoori
keema naan

beera chicken corner has very crisp menu with limited offerings.

the chicken offerings are better than most of the other options in amritsar. we ordered the food to our hotel

basis the review and personal experience i urge you to try out the chicken tikka and fish tikka (amritsari)

the gravy is far more oily though hence prefer to suggest tandoor items
