tucked away right in the corner of the most beautiful 44stanleyis a roastery which smells divine. it's a dedicated coffee shop serving fair trade coffee from around the world. each day presents you with a different, mouth-watering blend which is sure to satiate you. you can taste that it's of a really high quality. the set up in modern and clean and is a great place to just chill out with a coffee before you explore the rest of 44 stanley. they only really serve beverages so if you are hungry, take a walk around. it really is just a must try.

i like coffee, i dont drink it all the time, im no barista and i cant tell you if the coffee im drinking was grown in the 4th valley on the 12th tree in some ethiopian coffee plantation or if its stemmed from the poo of fruitbats but... i like coffee and i try go to quite a number of small coffee shops for the experience and their brands.

now... if you are hunting for the best coffee in joburg...several people i know including baristas have said this is the place to go, so try it out..
to me and bear in mind this is very subjective, the coffee is amazing, incredible.... but not my favorite.
i do love 44stanleythough, so location is a factor that keeps pulling me back and the smell in a coffee shop is always enough to raise a smile.

bean there is a coffee roasters and cafe, hidden in the popular 44stanleycreative precinct in milpark. the space is relaxed with an industrial/artistic theme - think high ceilings, cement screed flooring and rich wooden textures.

apart from the authentic atmosphere, obviously the real attraction is their coffee. being the trusted bean roasters and suppliers for many establishments around joburg, their product and standards are a cut above the rest.

beverages are expertly made with care and professionalism, and served with a smile.
needless to say, the taste and flavour is basically perfect.

if you make bean to cup coffee at home, it's definitely worth coming here to buy your beans!

love, love, love bean there! nothing better than walking through 44stanleyand smelling the aromas of roasting beans to whet your appetite for what's in store. the coffee is incredible as are the baristas who, as well as being super passionate, have also won numerous awards. we try get a spot in their tiny courtyard to soak in the sun while enjoying some of their superb coffee. #thejoburgfoodie

bean there serves great coffee and the aromas in their shop are amazing. it's situated at 44stanleywhich is a treat in its self! watch them roasting the coffee and go explore 44 stanley.
