my fav coffee of all time. i still buy the bags. the ultimate and love how you can buy fresh there. lots of coffee options in terms of gadgets love it

i've stopped here with friends to grab a quick cup of coffee. their menu is pretty simple which is great if you're a coffee lover but i do tend to enjoy the not-so-standard drinks. i enjoyed my cappuccino nonetheless.

last night i attended their coffee cupping evening with a friend and it was great....

amazing, delicious, professional coffee and service! i don't know why it's taken me so long to try it, but now that i have, i'll definitely be back again soon. piccolo is the way to go if you like your coffee as strong as i do ;) would love to try one of their workshops or cupping evenings.

just a simple coffee stop, which is all we need most days. the coffee here is great and definitely my favourite spot in the area. i usually just take an americano which is always a great choice because of the quality. haven't had a chance to eat something here though.

came here for a businesd meeting they serve great coffee,lovely atmosphere to just relax and chat,service was really friendly too and quick too

warm and aromatic little coffee shop tucked away in the corner of 43 stanely. the coffee is delicious and i'd definitely recommend giving them a try

wow. i had heard good things about this place, and it sure did live up to it's reputation. didn't have anything to eat, and never given a rating so high based on a single latte. bean there is well deserving of the surrounding hype. the coffee is delicious and fair trade too. the sell their beans there too; priced between r75 and r85 per 250 gram bag. i bought some coffee on the way out and they were kind enough to grind it for me too.
friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. i saw that you can also rent out their separate meeting area for r150 an hour.

situated in 44 on stanley, bean there is nestled away in the corner only to be found by a single sign and the smell of delicious brew. bean there do everything from running a coffee bar to roasting to packaging  to cupping all on sight. they have an array of quality  fair trade coffee and what they do...they do best.

went for a quick cuppa on the way home... the place is very cool and open with an old coffee grinder which really makes for great decor! you order at the counter and pay there too ;) 3 cappuccinos love the foam art ;) very chilled and laid back place.

good quality coffee in a lively space….

in love with the aroma of fresh beans and that roast coffee which fills the coffee shop, that aroma on is enough to make any coffee lover sit down or grab a cup. the staff is very friendly and lively, great energy. i had an opportunity to chat with one of the baristas who kindly gave me a crush course on making a americano n grinding beans. 

ended up spending my saturday afternoon chilling on the couch indulging and enjoying their awesome coffee.

always leave bean there with a smile, no disappointment, quality cup of coffee.

bean there is a coffee roasters and cafe, hidden in the popular 44 stanley creative precinct in milpark. the space is relaxed with an industrial/artistic theme - think high ceilings, cement screed flooring and rich wooden textures.

apart from the authentic atmosphere, obviously the real attraction is their coffee. being the trusted bean roasters and suppliers for many establishments around joburg, their product and standards are a cut above the rest.

beverages are expertly made with care and professionalism, and served with a smile.
needless to say, the taste and flavour is basically perfect.

if you make bean to cup coffee at home, it's definitely worth coming here to buy your beans!

a firm favourite for a quick coffee stop before lectures! always fantastic service and staff. they also mix up their coffee choices, so you're likely to try different fairtrade blends when you go. today was rwanda coffee.. yummy, smooth, almost toffee type flavour - though i'm no expert here!

only downer: there's only one size cup, and sometimes, especially as their coffee is so great, you'd like a little more.

i type this review out of frustration. (terrible for me, excellent for bean there) after having a regular dose off bean there's cappuccinos over the last two years, i've yet to find a better coffee. over the last month and a half, i've travelled between europe and dubai and have tried an unhealthy amount of coffee in an attempt to find something as satisfying and have failed. i thus patiently await m arrival back home in a few weeks, and plan to head straight to bean there from the airport. thanks guys for the consistent, excellent quality coffee and for the great service always. as a bonus, the boston cream cakes are better than those from the actual town of boston. you win on all levels.

the coffee tasting is such a treat. you get to choose different blends as well as method of percolation. and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. great vibe and cool setup. pity they don't stay open till late.
