really great fried foods.. we've been to b&c's 6+ times. some things we've come to expect...busy place, service from teens, the best thing on themenuis the hand-dipped tenderloin sandwhich bigger than your head. it's a great place to have a cold beer and get your greasy grub on! they do fried goodies really well...like : pickles, onions, sweet potatoes and tenderloins. other foods are a not as remarkable. my medium steak was cooked well, well done. another flop was a steak sandwhich with peppers and onions...not good...barely sauteed toppings. and get this...they bake chicken wings???

it is tenderloin week in indianapolis. that means several restaurants, bars and taverns sell tenderloin at a special price. pat got his pork but it wasn’t in indy and it didn’t have a special price. b&c is short for bonnie and clyde so themenuis loaded with outlaw references which didn’t appeal to me but i was game. with the image of an outlaw hideout the real building surprised me. i was expecting a rather run down joint with squeaky floors. what i saw was a fancy house, which is close to what it used to be, a realtor. it was far from being a dive it was an attractive and comfortable joint. for the most part it was your typical barmenubut it had a few spins to make it unique.

we liked b&c's hideout. went to b&c's hideout for the first time and will definitely return. we were immediately impressed with its cleanliness. themenuhad a variety of foods to choose from which is good when you're not sure what sounds good to eat. the waitresses were very friendly and polite and did not rush us. the food was good ole american cuisine and very tasty. the location of this restaurant is great--right on us 52. wish them much success and hope to return soon. p.s try the homemade potato chips!

decent food-bad atmosphere. we went there on a sat. at 6 p.m.,and they told us there would be a 15 minute wait ,even though i saw empty tables in the family side.so i went in the bar area,,and saw a couple of empty tables,so we sat in there.themenuwas typical bar food, but no chciken fingers or pizza offered.i was also surprised they had no draft beer on tap,and for a very busy place i find this a huge misstep.the place was packed and the noise level was unreal.the stereo system was turned up,like a honky tonk joint at 2 a.m.and the voices of all the people bounced off the dry wall ceilings and walls, and reverberated so loud. my wife and i could not even hear one another.it is basically a house made into a bar/restaurant,and the accoustics are just not made for large crowds of people.we were relieved to walk out of the place into the quiet evening.the food was not anything that had a big wow factor, and the loud and cramped surroundings made this a for sure one and done with us.
