b&c's hideout restaurant

get. the. wings. they are so good, and perfectly cooked. i’ve never had a bad meal here, but the boneless wings are my favorite. not much in the way of atmosphere- just a simple little bar/grill, but they do it right. thefoodis great, and we’ve always had great service.

good food, value and service. my husband and i have been there twice. both timesfoodand service was really good. this visit i had the tuscan chicken sandwich and black pepper fries.the chicken was cooked perfectly and the fresh basil, tomato and pesto mayo was a delicious combination. the fries were just right, not greasy or soggy. loved them! my husband got the chicken bacon wrap and onion rings. the wrap was huge and very good, onion rings are hand breaded and crispy. we ate everything. the waitress/bartender patiently helped my choose a beer, asking me about what types of beer i liked and making recommendations. we will definitely be returning! also both sandwiches were under $10 including a choice of sides!

dinner on thursday evening. we have eat here at least once every other month with friends. on the last 2 occasions, thefoodwas good (i had a grilled tenderloin sandwiches.) on both occasions thefoodcould have been hotter. the tenderloin was done but not hot and the baked potato wasn't hot enough to melt the butter even after five minutes at the table. while i would go there again with our group to be social, i wouldn't make the suggestion that we go there again.

good food. have eaten there many times.foodis always good and a nice variety. tenderloins and onion rings are the best, always good. took friends there who were visiting from out of town, so now when they visit they always request to eat at b&c. would highly recommend it.

if your tastes run to classic deep fried fare, then b&c’s hideout restaurant is definitely the place for you. although, if you want to keep your veins and arteries healthy and avoid a trip to your cardiologist before the age of fifty, you’d only visit once in a great while. still, since b&c’s is extremely popular, it just goes to show what a great many hoosiers enjoy eating the most, maybe it’s a comfortfoodthing.

the restaurant is very clean and the service is great, but thefoodand flavors are predictable, the tenderloin being a very pleasant exception (it is what i’ll order if i ever return there).

oh, and lest i forget, do not expect to have a draft beer with your tenderloin, because while there is a pub they only serve bottled or canned beer.

for the most part it was a positive. our table had the tenderloin, which was good! the italian sandwich and steak sandwich, good too! the ranch dressing was really good! the big disappointment was the fish s.w. it was undercooked (had a watery fish taste..probably cause it was umdercooked) the breading on it kept falling apart, making it impossible to eat as a s.w. it was extremely greasy. i only ate 1/3 of it! the 4 of us split the baked apple. it was decent but the dough wasnt cooked thoroughly in all places. service friendly,foodhad a bit of a wait time. we will try again just no fried fish!!!

good local place. overall we have had a positive experience the last couple times we have visited b&c. decent prices, good food, the only downside to me is the lack of draft beer, but not necessairly a negative against thefoodthey serve.

we liked b&c's hideout. went to b&c's hideout for the first time and will definitely return. we were immediately impressed with its cleanliness. the menu had a variety of foods to choose from which is good when you're not sure what sounds good to eat. the waitresses were very friendly and polite and did not rush us. thefoodwas good ole american cuisine and very tasty. the location of this restaurant is great--right on us 52. wish them much success and hope to return soon. p.s try the homemade potato chips!

great place!!!. this is what new pal needed. awesome food, very very clean restaurant.
the wait was a little long for us on a friday night so we just slipped into the bar for first come, first serve seating.
we actually sat at the bar near the end and were able to take in the entire bar area.the bar staff was also very fun and looked like they actually wanted to be there. cute blonde girl seemed to be running the tables and a really nice guy in a ball cap ran the bar and took care of us. polite and very awesome service. my wife thought the lights were a little to bright for a bar but not a real issue. we saw all types of patrons. older couples, young people , blue and white collar people enjoying the place. i would of liked to have seen hd sports action but that was my only negative.
thefoodwas really good ...they have quite the menu, from salads to sandwiches to steaks. i ordered the pasta dish...wow, it was very large portion...no lunch needed for me the next day. the wife had the tenderloin and it was all that it was cracked up to be. fantastic!!! steak chips with their homemade ranch dressing was right on point.
next time we will visit the dining room. the other negative i just remembered was that this place is not open on sundays :(...rethink this management...loved it anyway...nice job b and c's!!! we will be back

so happy to have a pub with greatfoodjust around the corner. now we don't have to go to the crappy eastside ghetto of indy.

two seniors. we went for the first time to the hideout, and were very impressed. thefoodis excellent and moderately priced.
the servers are great, however, the wait for ourfoodwas a little lengthly, something i hope they work on. the place is a nice addition to this area, and so much better than fast food. try it --i think you will like it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nice place. beer is always cold.foodis good. couple suggestions. add pizza to the menu and open on sundays.

great!. we live in the neighborhood and are so glad to have this restaurant open! it's super convenient and the entire staff is really fun and friendly! we love it and frequent the place quite often! thefoodis great, very reasonably priced, and i'm pretty sure we've all tried about everything on the menu! thank you b&c's!!!

decent food-bad atmosphere. we went there on a sat. at 6 p.m.,and they told us there would be a 15 minute wait ,even though i saw empty tables in the family side.so i went in the bar area,,and saw a couple of empty tables,so we sat in there.the menu was typical bar food,but no chciken fingers or pizza offered.i was also surprised they had no draft beer on tap,and for a very busy place i find this a huge misstep.the place was packed and the noise level was unreal.the stereo system was turned up,like a honky tonk joint at 2 a.m.and the voices of all the people bounced off the dry wall ceilings and walls,and reverberated so loud. my wife and i could not even hear one another.it is basically a house made into a bar/restaurant,and the accoustics are just not made for large crowds of people.we were relieved to walk out of the place into the quiet evening.thefoodwas not anything that had a big wow factor,and the loud and cramped surroundings made this a for sure one and done with us.

in town for big 10 tounament.. greatfoodand friendly staff. will be back when i'm in the area. tenderloin was awesome!
