best wings in huntsville. this is s unique atmosphere with great staff and a fantastic menu. they could work on their draft beer selection... but overall it tops out on atmosphere.. service is normally great... but rare occasions you can get abadwaiter. food is rarely poor quality, but at the end of the day is still a wings and burger joint. wings are less hot then expected

terrible service. verybadcustomer service. lots of standing around by employees, no sense of urgency. be prepared to double check your orders-- doesn't appear the staff realizes they are gettig paid to be there. much better causal dining options in huntsville. plus the wings were very subpar.

never again. my husband and i decided to have a friday night dinner out and chose to go to baumhower's because we have eaten at the montgomery and tuscaloosa locations and enjoyed it.badidea!!!!! i don't know if i have ever had service this bad, ever. our waitress was clueless. she took our drink order and disappeared. she took forever to return with our drinks. we ordered an appetizer and after another long period, she returns to tell us that she forgot to put our order in and that they are rushing us our appetizer. we then wait and wait and wait for our meal. then we wait and wait and wait for the check. i could not believe howbadshe was at her job. the couple behind us were also getting fed up with her. now about the food. the appetizer that she forgot to order and then put a rush on, tasted like it had been warmed in the microwave. i ordered the grilled lemon garlic chicken with grits. my grits had the film that comes from grits sitting too long, stirred in. i literally separated the film from the rest of the grits. every food item from the appetizer to biscuits to meal was, at best, lukewarm. when she finally brought our check, we went to the front to pay at the take out counter only to be informed that we couldn't pay cash there only debit or credit. what?????? i wasn't about to go and wait on this girl to come get my money so i paid with debit and she got a $3 tip. my husband and i are typically very good tippers, because we appreciate people who take pride in their job and do it well, but she blew it!!! oh and i almost forgot, they were running around trying to get somebody to roll silverware, because they were out of clean silverware. it was 5:30p.m. on friday, how do you run out of silverware? needless to say, we will not be back. as a matter of fact when we left i wanted to tell the people waiting in the lobby to cut their losses and go somewhere else. awful! awful!

horrible lunch. after a busy day of shopping, we decided to try out baumhower's restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. well, that was abadidea. for starters we had the salsa and chips. the menu states fresh homemade salsa (thats not what you get!!! it might have been fresh out of the jar) as for the chips, they were slightly stale or more likely straight out of a bag.

i opted for the wings which were actually quite good. overly priced for what you get but notbadtasting. now for the less than pleasant part of our meal.

rachel had the a side salad drowned in dressing after she requested the dressing on the side ( servers pay attention to your customers). as for her main course, rachel had fish & grits described as (caribbean-grilled fish perfectly seasoned, then gently grilled to tender perfection and served with our homemade alabama stone-ground grits of the day with stewed okra & tomatoes.) well, that's not what you get. the fish was old and over-cooked, lacking in flavor or taste. as for the grits, i'm not sure how you can ruin something so simple. i guess when you cook them hours before hand it kills the flavor. the okra and tomatoes, way more tomatoes than okra i guess it should have said tomatoes with a okra side.

lastly the restaurant was like having lunch in a sauna, excessively hot in the dining area. even though our server deja was a very pleasant and professional individual, service was quite slow.

if you opt to dine at baumhower's be sure to make sure the prices your charged match whats on the menu, because ours didn't. our server had to clear it with the manager (who never came out when there was a problem)
to correct out ticket.

baumhower's you've lost two new people to huntsville who will not be back.

i’m not sure why i’m giving a sports bar that specializes in wings such a hard time about their hushpuppies, but a piece of food thatbadhas got to be exposed for the mockery of the genre that it is.

great customer service. i went to baumhower's for the first time with my husband. we did not want to wait so we sat at a hightop in the bar. the service was extremely slow and the waitress never came back to our table to check on us the entire time. we also ordered a side of fries that were never brought out to us, but we were charged for. the wings we ordered were also very mediocre.

a few months later we decided to try it out again. the hostess again asked us if we wanted to wait or sit in the bar. i simply said i did not want to sit in the bar due to thebadservice we had in there last time. a manager happened to over hear this and sat us immediately. he also apologized for the poor service we had before. not only did he do this, but he gave us a complimentary appetizer of garlic biscuits and a free dessert. it was the absolute best customer service i have ever received in a restaurant. the burgers and buffalo chicken sandwich are delicious, not to mention that their fried pickles are one of the best things i have ever eaten!!! definitely recommend trying it out.

great food. i am a regular at baumhowers. at least once per week. wings is known for its buffalo wings, but a trip through their menu will find many different entrees. i have yet to have abadmeal there. the food is always tasty, and the service is top-notch.

wings, chicken sandwiches, pot-roast, burgers, the list goes on and on. and that is just the lunch menu. the dinner menu is even more extensive.

the managers will circulate through the dining area regularly inquiring about the food and service. george baily is especially friendly and engaging, and has even given us samples of new dishes, on the house, and asked our opinion on the offering. rarely do the new dishes not live up to the great tastes found at baumhowers.

lunch crowds can be pretty heavy, but it seems as if they never miss a beat.

great food, great service, reasonable prices. those are the reasons why i am a repeat customer and highly recommend bob baumhower's wings to anyone.

not a reasonable dining experience. understatement. never been to wings before and was excited about it. me and my wife came in to eat for lunch. for starters, we had to wait for a table for 20 minutes even though there were open tables, and servers standing around doing nothing. then when we finally got to the table our server... (teneesha) whom we had to find out by reading her name tag that only showed up when we got our check, did not even know what the daily lunch specials were that were on the menu. our order was wrong, and the food took too long. and we only ordered wings.. by the time we got our drinks refilled we were through with our meal, with a credit card on the table, and she didnt even grab the card, nor did we see a check for another ten minutes. i really wanted dessert but our 45 minute alloted time for lunch ended when our food was delivered. our "server" didnt even give us correct change, not benefitting us.badservice, iffy food, will never eat there again.
