great tuesday specials! “buck a shuck” oysters with a drink purchase. the drink menu is extensive and you can pretty much find anything for anyone. the oysters were very good and we also ordered their jalapeño poppers, they have bacon on top, filled with cheese and drizzled with honey… need i say more! bacon, cheese & honey! ;)

i am not a hugebeerfan, but they have 25beeroptions on the front page of their menu and the server told me that it is constantly changing; making this one of the bestbeerjoints in toronto. one that stood out was the “flying monkey triple chocolate dark stout” – some crazy flavours going on there.

tuesday nights are super high traffic due to the deals, please make a reso – expect to wait even with the reservation.

it’s been a long journey to here, the final meal in toronto before heading to the next destination. we were originally going to fring’s, but we got tired of waiting, and went to bar hop instead:. with their wide selection of beers, we were all able to choose one that we liked, or get a cocktail (g&t up top!). i had a flight of beers, all stouts that i wanted to try, none that i really remember, and again, not as good as thebeerfrom iceland, but they were good, ontario beers. we also had the cheese platter as an appetizer, and i had the salmon salad as my main:

group of people on our return flight from reykjavik had recommended bar hop. there were pages ofbeeroptions, and their food menu had some diversity. the wait staff was attentive/friendly, and the food was good. i liked the relaxed, industrial setting.

great place to hang out with friends!! they have a wonderful collection of craft beers which you otherwise won't find in lcbo orbeerstore. tried garlic doughnuts, loved them. they served a huge portion of fish and chips , we ordered 2 . they were delicious though. couldn't finish despite my best attempt. order only 1 to start with. liked the overall ambience

i have been here a couple times now, i love the craftbeerselection! the servers are usually really good at helping you pick out a newbeerif you want to try something different. the food was also great every time i went there.

one of my favourite spots to be. they have an incredible selection of beers, so if you are abeerfan this place is heaven. they have great food that compliments the beers.

if you're going in the evening, be prepared to wait in line! came here on a friday night and unsurprisingly, found the place packed and buzzing with excited conversations. it's not hard to see why bar hop is so popular... for starters, it has a wide selection of craftbeer(as well as other types of drinks) and fantastic bar food to boot. despite all the people, service is also fairly quick, friendly and accommodating. 

honestly, with a place like bar hop, there's no reason for you to bar hop! /dadjoke

casual, comfortable and a great place to hang out and a cozy patio. great select ofbeeron tap -try a few. the food menu is small but good. deep fried pickles are the best! the mussels are delicious but watch out- some nights are hotter/spicier than others. the arugula salad is great to balance out the beer. sunday has great old school music. good food and fun.

barhop was one of the first restaurants to jump on the resurgence of the true microbrewery movement in ontario. with it comes the hopster attitude and a menu which tries to match the needs of theirbeerswilling patrons. it’s crowded, they don’t take reservations and the service can be inconsistent but if you want a good pint in the entertainment district, this is your best bet….just don’t order a bud.

great beer, okay crowd. if i'm going to go out forbeeron king west, this is definitely my go-to spot. the afterwork and weekend crowd can make this place super busy and loud, so there are better choices if you're looking to have a good chat over great beer.

i'm changing my review of this place. i love theirbeerselections, but the staff are the absolute worst. even though there's a list of people to be seated, others get sat first because they know the staff. completely unfair. no apologies or anything. if i wanted some bullshit hipster attitude i'll head to ossington, not the king st strip. this place is a joke and the rude employees are pathetic. i used to go here quite often but i'll definitely never go back now.

it feels weird reviewing and rating this place highly when i haven't had a thing to eat there. nonetheless, here it goes... i went to check this place out with friends on a sunday. i had read about theirbeerselection and once i got there the tap menu did not disappoint. with the majority of beers priced at 5/pint on sundays, this is a place you could linger and chat with friends over 1, 2, or 5 pints at the end of the week. if you love beer, you should go. if you don't like beer, you should go. with such a big selection you're bound to find a brew that you like without too much of an investment. #beersundays

rating is based on thebeerofferings. they've got beers from all over the world and a good selection of local brews. havent tried the menu although it looks tasty.
