great food, great beer, great service. the fries/chips are awesome! would recommend burger, fish & chips, etc. nice atmosphere for both casual and cozy/relaxed dining.

great tuesday specials! “buck a shuck” oysters with a drink purchase. the drink menu is extensive and you can pretty much find anything for anyone. the oysters were very good and we also ordered their jalapeño poppers, they have bacon on top, filled with cheese and drizzled with honey… need i say more! bacon, cheese & honey! ;)

i am not a huge beer fan, but they have 25 beer options on the front page of their menu and the server told me that it is constantly changing; making this one of the best beer joints in toronto. one that stood out was the “flying monkey triple chocolate dark stout” – some crazy flavours going on there.

it’s been a long journey to here, the final meal in toronto before heading to the next destination. we were originally going to fring’s, but we got tired of waiting, and went to bar hop instead:. with their wide selection of beers, we were all able to choose one that we liked, or get a cocktail (g&t up top!). i had a flight of beers, all stouts that i wanted to try, none that i really remember, and again, not as good as the beer from iceland, but they were good, ontario beers. we also had the cheese platter as an appetizer, and i had the salmon salad as my main:

go to hang-out. thirty six craft beers on tap with rotating cask selections. over a hundred bottled beers and an appetizer menu that gets me every time.

pretty disappointing overall.  service lacked warmth/personal interest.  food was greasy/lacking in advertised flavours.  good selection of drinks and a friendly bouncer.

my husband and i stopped in for a drink and dinner. we split the brown butter doughnuts and a burger - both we're very tasty! we each had an ipa and though they were decent (from vermont, i think) our original ipa choice was tapped out.
the service was overall very good, considering there was a large party adjacent to us. the place is pretty small and we spent a good deal of time guarding our table, trying to keep our beers on the table.

group of people on our return flight from reykjavik had recommended bar hop. there were pages of beer options, and their food menu had some diversity. the wait staff was attentive/friendly, and the food was good. i liked the relaxed, industrial setting.

great place to hang out with friends!! they have a wonderful collection of craft beers which you otherwise won't find in lcbo or beer store. tried garlic doughnuts, loved them. they served a huge portion of fish and chips , we ordered 2 . they were delicious though. couldn't finish despite my best attempt. order only 1 to start with. liked the overall ambience

great place to go if you are craving fried food and beer. the jalapeño poppers were good as well as the savoury donut balls. i would suggest not getting a old fashioned as it was very pricey and ended up being quite watery.

i have been here a couple times now, i love the craft beer selection! the servers are usually really good at helping you pick out a new beer if you want to try something different. the food was also great every time i went there.

great joint for beer. hundreds of selections from all over. also, great selections of spirits. come prepared to drink. pub fare is very good.

so good, so, so good. mmmm bar hop. hardly a beer drinker, but its just so good. atmosphere is great, food also great. beer sampler is a must.

go for the drinks, but not the food.  the service is fine, too. this place has a huge selection of drinks. the decor is grungy. and the food menu sounds amazing, but the execution is very poor. we went in the afternoon on the weekend for lunch. we ordered the pork cheek macaroni and cheese and the garlic donuts. the donuts looked burnt and you could taste the greasy frying oil, but it didn't make the crust crunchy. the inside of the donuts were just bready - nothing special. the garlic flavour wasn't heavy enough and the dip was okay. there was parmesan cheese grated over top, but the cheese didn't stick to the dry donuts, so it seemed kind of pointless. the pork cheek macaroni and cheese was expensive and it was the worst macaroni and cheese i've ever had. the sauce was grainy and flavourless.  there was no real pork cheek in it - it was just pork skin that had been overly deep fried. using pork rind instead of pork cheek meat does not justify the price or false advertising. the brussel sprout apple salad that accompanied the mac and cheese, however, was quite good.

one of my favourite spots to be. they have an incredible selection of beers, so if you are a beer fan this place is heaven. they have great food that compliments the beers.
