rating is based on the beer offerings. they've got beers from all over the world and a good selection of local brews. havent tried the menu although it looks tasty.

was here on the weekend with friends and we loved it! had to wait about 20 mins for a table at 8pm on a saturday, not too bad. we ordered the fried pickles, garlic doughnuts, burger, bison ribs, and the meat pie special that night, which was braised lamb with portobello mushroom. absolutely everything was delicious! the only one we were "meh" on was the donuts, which really tasted more like mini bread rolls, though the garlic dipping sauce was still delicious. we finished up with the butter tart topped with ice cream for dessert, just mouthwatering. prices are on the higher side if you're looking for cheap, but it's great quality and pretty big portions. would come back in a heart beat!

this place has one of the best beer lists in the city, especially ontario craft beer. the food is good too (pub-style) and there's a loyal following for the restaurant's wings, flank steak, and mussels. there's a rotating cask list on the chalkboard by the bar, consult that when trying to determine what to drink.

the selection of beverages at this place is incredible!! i specifically went in for the ciders and my palate was loving every minute of it!! theme is so vast and categorized into local and international brews! they even have a samplers tray with  popular draft choices! i chose two: spirit tree pub cider and farmhouse cider! if you have a chance to go-give it a try!  they have the common beer appetizer menu with deep fried and crunchy snacks! the place is full! friendly staff and boisterous environment! the dim lighting is great on the eyes!!!

one of the three best places for craft beer in toronto. among that triumvirate, bar hop has the deepest and most thought out menu – which seems to continually improve. the tap list has some real gems, but also accessible options for those just dabbling in advanced beerology. have won well-deserved awards for their knowledgeable staff. best to go on sunday, monday, or tuesday for cheap pints, beer and mussels, and cheap oysters, respectively.

virtually perfect. the only negative thing possible to say is that it's really noisy inside, so expect limited conversation options.

otherwise....never a bad beer...never a bad meal...make it your go-to place for both. the burger and the mussels are top drawer.

quaint little pub. got a seat on the patio and although it was a bit crowded the downtown feel made it worth it. tons of beer to select from and the food options included some pretty diverse flavours. ordered the falafel which was fantastic. chicken club was great as well. good spot to try something new.

next stop: bar hop. dark, cozy craft beer place about a 5 minute walk from banh mi boys. drinker’s paradise! big beer list! love it!

their drink menu is extensive with 30 beers on tap, 2 cask beers and pages and pages of canned/bottled choices. there’s also a wide selection of gluten-free ciders..

i invited my friend valerie to come and watch with me and we met up for a quick bite at bar hop just a few doors down from the theater (i should point out though that the best bite of the night was the garlic donuts!). securing the tickets after dinner, as we approached the doors, we saw that there was a reception area.

i really, really enjoyed our experience at the bar hop and now i understand why they are so popular all the time. their food is excellent; probably the best and most memorable pub food i’ve had and their selection of beer is incredible. their service, needless to say, is also superior. well done, bar hop! :)

...they had a large selection of beers from ontario and neighboring quebec. in total, 36 craft beers on tap, 100+ available by the bottle. while we didn’t try the food, i saw they have some inviting shellfish specials. mussel mondays 2lbs of mussels and a basket of frites (french fries) for $9.95 + buck a

the draft beer selection is pretty awesome, really enjoyed the mussels and portobello mushroom risotto balls. great spot for a saturday night out.
