amazing food horrendous service. my husband and i love bar bill's food. they have giant wings that are incredibly flavorful. even the mild pack a ton of flavor. their beef onweckis really tender and they have awesome waffle cut seasoned fries. however, the place is really small and they have a horrible customer service/seating system. if you are new to bar bill please know that you have to walk in and go straight to the bar (push your way past people if you have to) and give your name to the bartender. they will put you on the list. we did that, but after waiting for 50 minutes we saw people being seated that came in after us. my husband stopped the one shorter, heavier gentleman to tell him we'd been waiting 50 min and he responded, "and?" then my husband explained how people that came after us were getting seated before us. we came to find out that even though we were standing in the same place inside the restaurant for 50 min the guy calling out people's names couldn't find us. but they did seat us at the next open table and gave us two free drinks. the waitress was great and really sweet and, as i said before, the food is delish.

oswego ny to erie pa. on our way to or from a family visit, we always got off i90 to have a beef onweckat the barbill in my hometown of east aurora ny. never disappointed in lou's delicious sandwiches until...this past november & april. what ever happened to the slow-cooked, cut to order roast beef? omg!....it looked the same...but texture was wrong...tasted like arbys....so sad, because you just can't get this sandwich in central ny. we'll give it one more try on reunion weekend in july 2014! if barbills owners have decided to "cut corners"...i'm sure it won't be long before there is a parade of customers on their way to schwables in west seneca!!

in it for the noms. don't go here on a tight schedule. don't go here looking for warm, attentive service. don't go here if you are claustrophobic.

go here to drink a few beers and shoot the sh** while you wait for a table. go here for the noms because the wings, waffle fries, and beef onweckare awesome. they're a little unconventional, cash only, and all about beer & great food. i'm not mad at that, and i will love this place forever.

very disappointed. i read about buffaloans bragging about this wonderful beef on weck, so i had to check it out. i don't get the hype. the beef was merely o.k., not great. theweckwas hardly a substantial roll, being weak in consistency and not at all flavorful, apart from the salt on top. the au jus was quite weak and flavorless.

i have no desire to return. i tried this place and charlie the butcher. the reviews are the same. frankly, i can't see a reason to choose one place over the other.

always great!. had another late lunch/early supper at the bar bil after doing the arcade and attica railroad yesterday. we had our usual regular and small beef onweckwith waffle fries, washed down with stella artois. we've never had anything other than a totally satisfactory experience here.

wings & weck. great wings & the beef onweckis scrumptious. it's close quarters though. great to sit outside on a summer night.

tools behind bar. when i come home for the holidays i specifically "attack" buffalo foods. beef onweckfrom the bar bill is normally on the list. it must come off now. the arrogant rude attitudes of the male staff in this place will have me going anywhere but there. the new ownership must be as daft as the old if the continue to allow customers to be treated this way. there are way too many options in east aurora to be unappreciated.

best beef andweckand best chicken wings in wny. if you have out-of-town visitors and want to take them for the best wings and best beef onweckall at the same time, this is the place. the only problem with bar bill is that it is very small, always crowded and it can be a long wait to get a table. if there is a hockey game on, you probably won't get a table. but it is worth the wait, and the bartenders are very attentive. this is the place to go for the foods that buffalo is famous for.
