oh hell no!. i have given this place more than a fair shake...multiple visits over the last 2 years or so. its always the same story, great wings and beef and the world's worst customer service. my recent visit will be the last time i give them a dime. i came in with 2 other couples. we were treated rudely and the short bearded jackass even yelled at us. never again! i will make sure to let everyone know .

i'm a local, been eating here for years. i've eaten wings from nyc to idaho... hands down the best wings i have ever had. everyone i've taken here agrees. yes you may have to wait a bit longer than usual, but that's half the experience. grab a pint, converse, then enjoy. best wings on the planet!!!

so with the great wings at the nine-eleven tavern now with the score to beat, we headed to the next stop over this past weekend: bar bill tavern in east aurora, new york....the bar bill tavern offers a wide varieties of wing shapes and sauces. you can choose from roaster size, sicilian wings or super jumbo breaded wings. after you choose your style of wing, you then get to choose from more than ten different sauces. the wings are then served with celery and the bar bill's homemade blue cheese dressing, which is made fresh daily.

terrible terrible treatment. i have been going to the bar bill for years and have put up with some bad treatment in order to get good food. not any more. i stopped in the afternoon after christmas with my 7 year old daughter just to get some wings to go. i am aware of their policy of not making take out orders if they are too busy. (being in the bar/restaurant business myself i can't understand this) after finnally being asked "what can i get ya" from an agitated bartender i asked if i could get food to go. i didn't want to pay for two overpriced drinks first and then be told i couldn't get food. he needed to know exactly what i would order to check with the kitchen. he cam back and told me "no food to go". that's it. no appology. nothing. just bad attitude. unbelievable treatment in front of my daughter. they charge a lot of money for their food and drinks and really should treat customers better. i will not be back. i'll take my bussiness to someone who appreciates it.

horrible. myself and 2 other guests arrived and stood waiting for a hostess or any employee to greet/acknowledge us. after 45 minutes of being treated as if we were invisible, we decided to jump in at a table that some ppl just vacated. there was nobody besides us waiting so we figured why not. as we sat down we organized the dirty dishes and set aside the servers tip. a short guy came over and barked at us, "dont bother sitting down because you arent next on the list." i then explained that we had been waiting a long time, havent been greeted or anything. another guy came over (he was very heavy, im told he is the owner) he explained that he could put us on the list. as we got up i asked about a open table that was in the back, the heavy guy told me that "i do this for a living so relax." i responded that the customer service was a little more than lacking. then all of a sudden the short guy from before, now standing behind the bar, starts screaming at us, and had to be restrained from gettin in our faces. it was unbelieveable, we were treated like absolute trash. i have never been talked to like in a manner like that. i have heard that the bar bill has phenominal wings but i wouldnt ever go back there if the food and drinks were free. sometimes when a small business builds up a strong customer base/following they feel that they no longer have to give good customer service because they have enough business. i have heard that experiences like mine are not very uncommon.

amazing food horrendous service. my husband and i love bar bill's food. they have giant wings that are incredibly flavorful. even the mild pack a ton of flavor. their beef on weck is really tender and they have awesome waffle cut seasoned fries. however, the place is really small and they have a horrible customer service/seating system. if you are new to bar bill please know that you have to walk in and go straight to the bar (push your way past people if you have to) and give your name to the bartender. they will put you on the list. we did that, but after waiting for 50 minutes we saw people being seated that came in after us. my husband stopped the one shorter, heavier gentleman to tell him we'd been waiting 50 min and he responded, "and?" then my husband explained how people that came after us were getting seated before us. we came to find out that even though we were standing in the same place inside the restaurant for 50 min the guy calling out people's names couldn't find us. but they did seat us at the next open table and gave us two free drinks. the waitress was great and really sweet and, as i said before, the food is delish.

buffalo's best wings. bar bill is a great little place, but expect it to be busy. once you have gone there a few times you will catch on to how it works. you have to get on the list for a table when its busy- its funny watching new comers stroll in thinking they can just sit down at a table when its totally packed and theres actually an hour waiting line. these are the people that then get pissed off and mad at bar bill- the truth is, bar bill has the best wings in buffalo, and if buffalo has the world's best wings, this simply means bar bill has the best chicken wings on planet earth. i'm not even a huge wing fan (or sports fan), and i am totally addicted to their wings!! our favorites: honey butter barbecue, regular (medium, which is hot by the way), and cajun. the patio is great when its warm out- if theres a sabres game, prepare to wait for a table.

the place isn't like it use to be the roast beef was warm and too rare and french fries were burnt we had to send them back .i swear they sent the same ones back and i said we are not paying for these they are burnt.the cola wasn't  like it use to be . i  won't go back

this place is a shit hole.  the food isn't what it used to be.  full of jerk off regulars and horrible bartenders.  joe the bartender is an a$$hole!  avoid this place. the wings are overrated and the beer tastes like vinegar.

no one comes close to their beef on weck! their should be a tip jar out for the kid slicing that beef all day behind the bar!!! u will leave happier than expected

best beef on weck. you cannot beat their beef on weck. wings are great also. takes some time, but definitely worth it.

out of towner but..... ...these are the best wings in wny. i've had duff's, gabe's gate and a few other spots. these are the best by far.

back in the day, bar bill tavern made it difficult for non-regulars who were unsure how to get a table. their online presence was limited and they didn’t take cash or even have a hostess on staff. you had to figure out on your own that the bartenders were the ones that kept track of the waiting list for tables. things have changed. they now have a well designed website and are more active in the social media world (they even have an instagram account!). they still only take cash but on our last visit they had an actual hostess on staff. with a note pad in hand she was walking around, greeting customers when they walked in and putting them on a wait list. even if she wasn’t there, they’ve added a plaque in the bar that summarizes the rules for new customers (no cash, waits can be long, go talk to the bartender).

ignorant asswipes!. called and order chicken wings and they told me it would be 30 minutes.. i got there and waited 20 more minutes for my food and when i got home we had no blue cheese to eat our wings with. after waiting 13 minutes i asked the door girl to go check on my order and she told me no! never eating here again. too packed from wall to wall no room to breathe, no parking, and just plain ignorant employees. don't waste your time or money on this place, go to mamosers tavern in hamburg.. wings are better and a great environment to be in.

oswego ny to erie pa. on our way to or from a family visit, we always got off i90 to have a beef on weck at the barbill in my hometown of east aurora ny. never disappointed in lou's delicious sandwiches until...this past november & april. what ever happened to the slow-cooked, cut to order roast beef? omg!....it looked the same...but texture was wrong...tasted like arbys....so sad, because you just can't get this sandwich in central ny. we'll give it one more try on reunion weekend in july 2014! if barbills owners have decided to "cut corners"...i'm sure it won't be long before there is a parade of customers on their way to schwables in west seneca!!
