10 out of 10! a true 5 star adventure into the culinary world with modern twists on theiralian staples,, perfectly cooked classics and gorgeouswinelist to match. the service impeccable, respectful of privacy but extremely knowledgable and entertaining. i'm not a big night time eater so when i mentioned the fact to our waiter when he asked us about a selection of breadrolls he had on offer, he simply said: no, i won't bring you one - and i was so thankful for it! more room for the deliscious creations from the kitchen! the crab tortellini we shared was to die for, as was the duck leg confit and steak. highly recommended if you want to impress or have a lovely meal that's consistent in quality.

i was recommended bambini trust restaurant &wineroom. their alaskan crab avruga caviar omelette was the best omelette i’ve ever had! the coffee was also good. i can’t wait to go back and try other items on their menu!

a stylish european restaurant andwinebar situated in the heart of the city.. sydney established 18 years with many regular diners trading breakfast lunch and dinner with drinks, a long list of wines by the glass and classic cocktails.

this is a fabulous littlewinebar. from the minute you walk in you are looked after. it is a small, intimate space but this only adds to the ambiance. greatwinelist. truffle popcorn is a treat on each of the tables. you feel like you have stepped back in time to a period of elegance and romance.

elegant and delightful!!! we were treated beautifully right from arrival, when we had an aperitif outside overlooking the park- so european!!! through being escorted to our seating with attentive but not in your face staff.
the menu and specials of the day were superb- we enjoyed the sydney rock oysters particularly and the sirloin was a magnificent piece of meat perfectly cooked, although the grid accompanying were good, they were a bit overwhelming and didn't add much to the meat.
thewinelist was fun and a number of exciting quirks- we finished with a superb 1981 armagnac.
overall fantastic, and in short we'll be back!!!

good food and great venue for a business lunch if you are in cbd. do try to book before. extensivewinelist and a good fine dining place with service to match.

good food andwinelist. a bit busy and cosy. maybe its christmas lunch season but they were very slow. it was nearly 1 hour before the entrees arrived. the salmon was great.

the food was amazing and thewinelist is incredible. loved the spatchcock and it was beautiful to have great company and the service from the staff was also incredible

really nice decor, very old school italian. beer choice is terrible, good cocktail list, but didn't try any.winelist very good, and has a decent choice of half bottles. we had a cracking sancerre, a good bordeaux, and rounded our with the kracher.
entrees were good: fresh oysters and caprese. mains are self supporting, cotelleta with veg, lamb with some horrid grain salad. order chips. dessert was ok. coffee ok.

delicious traditional cuisine. professional and friendly yet conservative wait staff. greatwinelist with solid local and international options. a great little sydney institution.

beautiful ambience. the service is impeccable, thewinelist is wonderful as are the food and the rest of the alcoholic wonders on offer. wish they'd do something about the coffee - it's awful.

beautiful. my partner and i ate ate thewinebar since the restaurant was booked out but that didn't affect the dining experience. the atmosphere was classy and the staff were friendly and helpful, as they naturally would.

the actual food was very delicious overall. only one negative i would point out was the pork belly which i had with some vegetables. the pork itself was cooked very well but the ratio of fat to meat was off to the fat side. the skin was cooked to perfection though.

hit and miss.. to be fair this review is of a business lunch from nov 1st 2013. i had written it but not posted it.

the steak frittes was cooked well, however had quite a bit of sinew throughout the steak.
the beef cheek pasta entree was very good.
there was a chip in one of the guestswineglass.
the pinot noir on the menu was a different year to the one served.
the light above our table continued to go on and off, this appeared to be attended to as it stopped after someone bought it to the attention of the staff.
the semifreddo had quite a bit of ice crystals throughout.
the desserts appeared to take a quite some time to be served even though we appeared to be the last remaining table in the restaurant by the time we ordered.
should a table order sparkling water i would think it to be custom to ask if they would like to order more, as apposed to automatically continuously replenishing the order and adding the items to the bill.
one final annoyance that i would not expect at a restaurant at this level is a guests dish being served to them by leaning over and in front of another guest (across the table).

unfortunate. we were out for a senior management function - 6 executives of a major organisation to celebrate a great year. we were hoping to have good food and services. the food was great - so sumptuous. would have rated the food top score. the service whereas is the disappointment - our table was in front of the entry and backed the coffee machine. you could imagine the disruption . the waiter took prompting to serve us our first drinks. during the meal, ourwineglasses were regularly empty and again the waiter had to be promoted. when desert arrived, the waiter missed one order. it was a night of celebration and we wished that maybe a slightly more cheery waiter may be more complimentary than a snob. i have been a regular customer of bambini and had recommended bambini to my peers. this was quite an embarrassment.
