a regular stop when visiting sydney from new zealand. perfectly sited to the cbd shopping. beautiful, classic architecture to the entrance and lovely warm, panelled ambiance inside. a formal feel both in the service, white linen table cloths and food presentation. usually we arrive for brunch and invariably i order the same thing - the poached eggs, with gravlax and hollandaise on toast. i think bambini does this better than anywhere - the hollandaise is good, the egg perfectly poached - but what makes it special is the sourdough treatment with the bread compressed into a thin perfect layer rather than the usual door stops that bulk out the majority of egg breakfasts elsewhere.
for breakfast, for this dish, bambini is highly recommended.

interior of the restaurant is dark and swanky, but in an old-fashioned sort of way. it almost has a musky feel as you entering into it's mysterious, hidden location. definitely book in advance to avoid missing a spot, since i'm sure its a favourite with work crowds looking to impress their clients.

totally stuck up waiters. lose the attitude and you might get a tip next time. food totally over priced. the smallest veal cutlet i've ever seen.

a little pricey (fish was $42 and wines started at $60ish) but the food was very good. generous portions.

10 out of 10! a true 5 star adventure into the culinary world with modern twists on theiralian staples,, perfectly cooked classics and gorgeous wine list to match. the service impeccable, respectful of privacy but extremely knowledgable and entertaining. i'm not a big night time eater so when i mentioned the fact to our waiter when he asked us about a selection of breadrolls he had on offer, he simply said: no, i won't bring you one - and i was so thankful for it! more room for the deliscious creations from the kitchen! the crab tortellini we shared was to die for, as was the duck leg confit and steak. highly recommended if you want to impress or have a lovely meal that's consistent in quality.

entrees arrived quite quickly with one of the first dishes being the  iberico jamon with honeyed goats curd, olive & wakame.  when we saw the menu miss k had her heart set on this dish because she absolutely loves cured meats like jamon and prosciutto, she definitely enjoyed the jamon from what i gath

we went there as the reputation of this place. however, with advanced book wing for a month, we were placed right next to the door. when i requested to changed my seat, despite the fact that multiple empty tables available, all he said was why they can’t change my sit despite the fact that that we website said the seat was allocated based on first reserve first services. the food is okay but not justified the services from the gm. he is just terrible.

with not-to-bad food but terrible services, i don’t know if i will visit that again.

bambini trust wine room is an old favourite. i love going there for breakfast, lunch, dinner or for just a wine and some snacks. the food never disappoints and the wine list is impressive. #bambinitrust

i was recommended bambini trust restaurant & wine room. their alaskan crab avruga caviar omelette was the best omelette i’ve ever had! the coffee was also good. i can’t wait to go back and try other items on their menu!

a stylish european restaurant and wine bar situated in the heart of the city.. sydney established 18 years with many regular diners trading breakfast lunch and dinner with drinks, a long list of wines by the glass and classic cocktails.

an amazing experience and enjoyable time at bambini. usually for after work drinks with friends or work colleagues, it is a small intimate place with friendly, welcoming staff who have a great knowledge of what is on the drinks list. sitting outside in warmer weather is always the bonus. the restaurant side is an under rated secret in sydney, more people should eat there, amazing food. maintain the quality, consistency and level of service.

had the fruit salad, scrambled eggs, crab omelette and the avocado on toast. the fruit salad was fresh and the mascarpone was sweet and a good accompaniment but it usually comes with coconut yoghurt, except they were out today. the crab omelette wasn’t good very well, it was spongy and cooked on way too low a heat. the avocado on toast is what you would expect. the scrambled eggs were bland as were the mushrooms and bacon. overall the food was not great and neither was the service. i will not be back

i have been coming here for years. this is an old world establishment with lovely meals, hospitable service and only trying to please. it is full of business people in the morning and good vibe and atmosphere. will visit each time i’m in sydney.

i’ve visited twice now and have had the bambini spaghettini on both occasions. this dish is absolutely delicious and my absolute favourite of everything on the menu!
