ballard brothers seafood and burgers

the best fish and chips!. okay. so i've been enjoying the burgers for months. but how about those fish and chips? guys, these are some of the best fish and chips i've ever had. large pieces of cod (halibut available) - not just breading. and don't for get the fries. this moves ballard brothers from my verygoodlist to the top! and my little guy gets lunch with dad for free mon-wed? too cool! did i mention their compost-friendly utensils and other items in the store. or how about the owner who mingles with everyone and asks how their meal is and tells his patrons about their ecological efforts? at this dine, seattle's finest parking enforcement officers were enjoying a great lunch. i was so impressed i had to find out who the person behind the counter was. a quick search led me to a little video they did and it was owner andrew greer. how cool is that? andrew, keep those fish coming. and the blue cheese burger. and... everything! you just can't get a better lunch or dinner value in ballard!

enjoyed the food. we had lunch at ballard bros. and really enjoyed the food. we ordered a black & blue burger with hot yummy fries and the grilled salmon sandwich. we were hungry and this was piping hot on a cold wet day and it really made us feelgoodafter we left the place. we will go back again. thanks to the cooks and owners! we would recommend this place to anyone.

cajun salmon burger. okay dont get me wrong but this isgoodeatin' with flavor and texture. seems alittle pricey at $7.50 each but maybe that is the kind of restraint i need so that i dont each there each and every day. not that i would.

fries weregoodtoo. crisp texture kind of the oil is fresh and hot enough to keep the moisture in the inside.

the salmon sandwich is a must!. another fast food standby! i started going to bb when they were still up on 15th avenue in the small space that is now occupied by lunchbox laboratory. what brought me in and brings me back again and again is the fresh salmon sandwich. sure, you can get agoodbacon cheeseburger here, or a fried basket of fish and chips or clams ... but none of these are the stand out that the salmon sandwich is. oh yeah, the onion rings are better than average as well and you can sub them out for fries.

strange in agoodway, ballard brothers ' claim to fame is the cajun blackened salmon sandwich. i think the storefront is pretty new. it used to be a skippers or something. but the brothers have been making inexpensive seafood and burgers for years though
