ugh.... we've driven by this place for years and always said we should try it. it's horrible. even their best item, theblackenedsalmon. we'll never go back.

little bit greasy but ... not bad:. friendly, encouraging service. food was good.blackenedsalmon burgers were tasty.

delicious!. urbanspoon reviews took me to ballard brothers last night and what a delicious, surprising treat! despite it's location around two fast food joints, this place is not a nasty fast-food joint! it's clean and friendly and in addition the prices of the food are surprisingly low for the quality you receive. i highly recommend the cajunblackenedsalmon (amazing) and a basket of classic fish and chips (yummy!). the prices ranged from $6.75 to $7.75 and there was so much food we had to take some home! the owner's a nice guy and plays great music in the restaurant!

they really do have great (but greasy) food here. the owner is super friendly and will talk your ear off if you give him the chance. i love that they use almost 100% compostable items. i know these are more expensive for the business. their specialty is the cajunblackenedsalmon, but i have had most of their other food as well and it's all good. their fries are honestly the best i've ever had. my only complaint is that the food is a little bit expensive compared to their competitors.

can't believe this is a fast food burger.... the ballard brothers burger is thick, juicy, perfectly cooked... even the bun is above average. i chose the bacon blue cheese burger and it was better than any of the casual dining chains - red robin, etc. i don't know how the wendy's next door stays in business. burger comes with fries for only $7.50. i've had theirblackenedsalmon as well, which was very good. next time i should try the fish and chips or one of the chicken sandwiches but i don't know how i'm going to get past the burgers.

strange in a good way, ballard brothers ' claim to fame is the cajunblackenedsalmon sandwich. i think the storefront is pretty new. it used to be a skippers or something. but the brothers have been making inexpensive seafood and burgers for years though
