will not go back. the food is not nearly good enough to make up for the atrocity that is the service here. when you confront any members of the staff about their terrible service and attitudes, they will most likely not care. the worst of all the employees is actually the owner. hopefully, this building makes way for a heightstacoand tamale franchise.

our favorite neighborhoodtacoplace!. this has become a regular stop for our family for dinner! the food is awesome, and the service has always been fast and friendly. the owner always makes a point to come by the table and check on our experience. i am a big fan of the blackened mahi taco, and my wife's favorite is definitely the cuban! i highly recommend getting yourtacofix at baja grill!

return visit. not as busy as last time but still crowded especially in the bar area. had the mad mex platter with brisket taco, brisket enchilada and pork taco. the brisket items were chewy and well-seasoned. rice was much better this time. beans were very good. our server seemed troubled about something, didn't really smile throughout the service. nevertheless she was on top of everything. hope she is okay. chips and salsa were really good as usual. had to remark to my friend amount the overabundance of baja mex personnel working the shift.

mad-mex platter. brisket enchilada and brisket taco, well-seasoned but chewy & pork tamale. refreshingly different combination.

food is good, even better next door. i've been here a few times. there is always a lot of people here, i think mostly due to the margaritas. since i don't drink much, i can't tell you anything about that. i had the lettuce leaf wrap (tacos) with grilled chicken. the lettuce (iceberg) was fresh as well as the accompaniments. the sauce was piquant and added brightness to the wraps. the rice that came alongside the tacos was all right. it was fluffy and looked like it had minced cilantro in it. surprisingly it really didn't have any flavor. i like rice in every shape and form, so it really didn't matter--it wasn't burnt and didn't stick together like chinese restaurant rice so less starch. i had a early lunch today, so i really wasn't too hungry but had this as an early dinner, skipping the perfunctory chips and salsa.

service was fine, my tea was refilled once. server did ask several times if everything was okay. the atmosphere is party-like, sports bar atmosphere, with a dozen flatscreens all showing sports of different ilk. of course, no sound. that seems to be the trend, as is not having the closed-captioning on. the only thing that i really did not like was the number of flies in the restaurant. it probably would have been better to have eaten outside. my friends put napkins over their salsa to keep the flies from landing on the bowl. aggravating to say the least.

i'll give this place a marginal "like" because the food, at least what i've had here today and in the past, has been good.tacoh, their sister off shoot restaurant next door is phenomenal! i have not done a review on it yet since it has been a few years since i've been there. check some of the others reviews of it though. best of the freebird/chipotle-type restaurants. inexpensive too.

mixed feelings.. the guac was very limey, and the chips were perfectly crisp but broke in the dip. the place was loud and small, and it took nearly 30 mins to get onetacoand one burrito. good heat in the cuban taco, love the gluten-free options. pork was chewy, but great mixture of flavors. onetacowas small but the burrito was huge. i'll give it one more try.

i loved this place as a food truck (ate there multiple times a week). i enjoy eating at their new restaraunt even more. there is always great music playing and melissa or craig always stop by our table to see how we are doing and how our food is. i love the salsa and queso and the chips are always warm and crisp. my favoritetacois the cuban and the honey chipotle and they never disappoint. i've tried just about everything on the menu and i love it all!!

best tacos in central arkansas. i have been a faithful customer of baja grill since opening in benton. i must say they have an amazing flair, their small menu is a plus. how many times you go to a restaurant and menu is 3 pages long, very over whelming in my opinion. my favorite hands down is cuban porktacoand acid salsa. i recently tried a skinny margarita and was very good and not watered down. as far as their customer service, craig and melissa are always so sweet and welcoming, they know what me and my family order every time. i'd wish they were still in benton.

great tacos, call ahead. they have great fresh food. the tacos are the best. my favorites are the cubantacoand the pork taco, however the others are good as well. they are usually pretty busy (good food = high demand). you can save yourself some wait time by calling your order in.

divorcing you. yeah, i'm breaking up with this place. love, love loved it whentacoh was next door. i came here thinking i could get the same big fat burrito like before, but while the flavor is the same, the price is $3.50 more than it was before. i guess that is what happens when you get the same thing served on chinaware. it is actually a buck cheaper on sundays during brunch hours.

it was so much easier and quicker before too attacoh. and when you would get the burrito it came wrapped in aluminum foil and you could just open it up and eat it that way. so simple. now it's with a knife and fork that i have to go at it. and the cheese, sour cream and guacamole are served on the plate separately. by the time you add them, your burrito is cold.

now, i guess this place is all about the margaritas. seems to be mostly tables of women here soaking up the liquor with their friends. atmosphere is non-existent...deathly quiet...can't hear music....televisions on but no sound...

i will say that the service was good, friendly. no complaints at all about that. it was everything else that brought baja mex gril down. sorry bmg. i had to leave you for another restaurant.

best fish tacos!!!. baja grill is a place i just cannot get tired of. their menu is not huge, but it is a food truck. hands down, they have the best mahi-mahitacoi have ever had. i even went on a vacation to gulf shores and did not have a fishtacoas fresh tasting as baja grill. the combination of flavors with the seasoned grilled fish, the tequila lime aioli, and the mango salsa just cannot be beat. if you are really hungry, go for the cuban burrito. it is my next favorite and it is huge! two thumbs up!

the perfect taco. i came late on a friday night. the place had been slammed and they were out of most everything on the menu. i had the shredded beef tacos. a perfect balance of a thick corn tortilla, wonderfully seasoned shredded beef, cabbage, baja sauce, uber fresh pico and cheese. first bite and i knew it was a special taco. this place can go toe to toe with anytacostand in southern california, san antonio or mehico. i hope benton shows this place plenty of love because this istacoshangri la.

closed??? they were open this evening..... it was our first time to eat there and we were a little confused by the 2 restaurants in one building but they explained it to us and we were seated quickly.

chips and salsa were decent but the chips weren't as fresh and hot as i prefer. salsa had some good flavor to it.

i ordred a fishtacowith grilled fish and was a little bummed that he told me it didn't come with cheese and would cost me $1.25 if i wanted some. yikes that is $$$ for cheese. i had them put the sauce on the side and hold the cabbage. thetacowas very good. the sauce was perfect and i actually didn't miss the cheese. i would get it again. my husband had the guacamole enchilada and liked it.
the sides were out of this world too. he had the roasted corn and tortilla soup. i tried both and they were very good.

we will pleased with our first visit and will return. by the time we left it was packed and people were waiting to be seated. we have driven by this little gem for years and never once stopped. my son told me about it and that prompted us to stop in for dinner. he said the queso is wonderful so that is on our list to try next time. my husband said he would try something new next time. i enjoyed the fishtacoand soup so much i wouldn't need to mess with perfection.

food subpar, service good. went to baja grill in grapevine tonight. the pre-meal salsa was good: it's more than glorified ketchup (like the last couple of tex mex places i've been). it had a nice kick.

the entree was sorely disappointing. got the big fajita burrito (chicken). it came w/ fajita chicken (allegedly), spanish rice and black beans within. there was scarcely any chicken in the burrito--it was essentially a rice and bean burrito, both in terms of texture and flavor.

there was also something odd about the burrito's tortilla. it did not stick to the ingredients. the beans and rice spilled out on the plate, requiring a scoop with the fork to eat it. can't remember the last time this ever happened with any burrito, if ever.

the guacamole and queso served on the side w/ the burrito were good. had them on chips as well as on the main item.

the service was good. our waiter was continuously coming by at the right time. he didn't note to bring us lemons on our second round of beverages (which we'd ask for on first round and he brought them first round).

this is one thing i'm continually amazed at most waitstaff. when a customer asks for lemon w/ their tea or water when seated, why wouldn't you think they would want lemon on their refills?

aside from this the server was attentive, timely, friendly. definitely a veteran, and good at his trade.

overall the food was disappointing. the burrito was not at all worth its $9 price tag. there is easily more tex mex food for the dollar and quality out there.

anyone know how thetacoh located next door is? is it one of those $1.25-$1.50tacospots? i may give them a whirl next time in the area, or the peace burger two doors down.

baja grill did not impress in terms of quality or quantity of food. not that i won't ever go back, but will definitely give others in the area a try first. not at all great, not well impressed.
