amazing food, locally owned, and service plus!. i keep thinking the food could not possibly be as good as my memory, but each time we eat at baja grill i am blown away. the owner always comes to our table to check in about our experience and the wait staff is super friendly. the cuban and the mahi tacos are amazing. food is reallyfreshand well prepared. if you are looking for delicious gluten-free dining, baja's menu is primarily naturally gf. five stars from our family!

we always have a great dining experience here. they don't take reservations but you can put your name on their waitlist online and that cuts down time. everything is alwaysfreshand we love all the flavors. we also have talked with the staff and owners on multiple occasions and everyone is always helpful, friendly, and fun. a definite must in little rock.

return visit. not as busy as last time but still crowded especially in the bar area. had the mad mex platter with brisket taco, brisket enchilada and pork taco. the brisket items were chewy and well-seasoned. rice was much better this time. beans were very good. our server seemed troubled about something, didn't really smile throughout the service. nevertheless she was on top of everything. hope she is okay. chips and salsa were really good as usual. had to remark to my friend amount the overabundance of baja mex personnel working the shift.

food is good, even better next door. i've been here a few times. there is always a lot of people here, i think mostly due to the margaritas. since i don't drink much, i can't tell you anything about that. i had the lettuce leaf wrap (tacos) with grilled chicken. the lettuce (iceberg) wasfreshas well as the accompaniments. the sauce was piquant and added brightness to the wraps. the rice that came alongside the tacos was all right. it was fluffy and looked like it had minced cilantro in it. surprisingly it really didn't have any flavor. i like rice in every shape and form, so it really didn't matter--it wasn't burnt and didn't stick together like chinese restaurant rice so less starch. i had a early lunch today, so i really wasn't too hungry but had this as an early dinner, skipping the perfunctory chips and salsa.

service was fine, my tea was refilled once. server did ask several times if everything was okay. the atmosphere is party-like, sports bar atmosphere, with a dozen flatscreens all showing sports of different ilk. of course, no sound. that seems to be the trend, as is not having the closed-captioning on. the only thing that i really did not like was the number of flies in the restaurant. it probably would have been better to have eaten outside. my friends put napkins over their salsa to keep the flies from landing on the bowl. aggravating to say the least.

i'll give this place a marginal "like" because the food, at least what i've had here today and in the past, has been good. taco h, their sister off shoot restaurant next door is phenomenal! i have not done a review on it yet since it has been a few years since i've been there. check some of the others reviews of it though. best of the freebird/chipotle-type restaurants. inexpensive too.

new heights favorite. i've eaten at baja grill three times now, and every visit has been amazing. i can't say for sure if the cuban or the honey chipotle burrito is my favorite. the salsa isfreshand tangy, the guac is delicious, and now they are serving margaritas as well... heaven.

i do find that it's better to go early for lunch, as the service is a little speedier and the tables fill up quickly. but i have only had positive experiences with the service.

fresh and delicious. when baja gril was a food truck in benton, i drove over several times to enjoy theirfreshand delicious tacos, and when they opened their new restaurant in my neighborhood, i was thrilled. i have eaten there many times, and this week, i was there three times with different friends - a bit too much!! i love their peach sangria and the triple dipper, freshly made salsa and guacamole and cheese dip and my favorite main course is the blackened shrimp taco! by the third visit this week, i would have loved to have had a salad at lunch to go along with the triple dipper.

love baja grill. my guess is that when several bad reviews are all posted on the same day (some describing the same scenario), someone's table had a disappointing experience. we have eaten here several times and taken a variety of guests. service is always prompt and friendly, food is always fabulous!freshwith a consistently high quality. i have yet to hear any bad reviews besides those posted here on august 23.

great place for great food. i've had the pleasure of dining at baja grillmany times as a food truck in benton and in the new location. the food is alwaysfreshand delicious and the service i've received has always been good. i highly recommend trying the flet a new special which hopefully will be added to the daily menu. the filet was as good as the filets i've had at cache or arthur's really well prepared and great sides. the grilled peach was also a greatfreshtreat. if possible this would be a weekly eating establishment for me and the wife. give baja grill a try forfreshgood food and service.

if you know anything about californian style mexican food you'll know that this place is the complete opposite. i ordered a chicken burrito and got a burrito completely covered in queso. i took one bite and was not impressed. the owner saw my lack of enthusiasm and asked if i liked my meal and i proceeded to let him know it wasnt for me and instead of asking if i wanted a substitution he automatically said "oh sorry" and walked away. i was pretty frustrated at the lack of consideration. as soon as my friends were finished the waiter noticed i never ate my burrito and asked if i liked it.. as soon as i let him know i didn't like it he asked if i needed a box. if you like over done tex-mex this is your place, if you have an actual palette and enjoy goodfreshmexican food this is not the place. service was awful, lack of consideration and inauthentic. never going back.

very good. the tacos arefreshand delishious. i will definately go back very soon. nice quaint outdoor patio. great service.

what a welcome addition to the heights!freshfood, great drinks, and best of all, locally owned. the owner visits every table and checks on food quality and service! what a welcome change from corporate restaurants. try the cuban!!

great tacos, call ahead. they have greatfreshfood. the tacos are the best. my favorites are the cuban taco and the pork taco, however the others are good as well. they are usually pretty busy (good food = high demand). you can save yourself some wait time by calling your order in.

still my fave!. baja grill still amazes me each time i eat there and when they have a special menu item- try it! they still set the bar for tacos and burritos in my opinion!

best fish tacos!!!. baja grill is a place i just cannot get tired of. their menu is not huge, but it is a food truck. hands down, they have the best mahi-mahi taco i have ever had. i even went on a vacation to gulf shores and did not have a fish taco asfreshtasting as baja grill. the combination of flavors with the seasoned grilled fish, the tequila lime aioli, and the mango salsa just cannot be beat. if you are really hungry, go for the cuban burrito. it is my next favorite and it is huge! two thumbs up!

fresh and delicious!. i have been a loyal customer from the beginning, before there were even at the current location. food truck or not, this is some the best food in central arkansas, it is a real hidden gem!! most of the time i get the blackened mahi mahi tacos, which are rediculous, with a superfreshand tasty mango salsa, crisp cabbage, and fresco cheese. btw it is the only place in the county to get good mahi mahi, and one of the few places in central arkansas. they also have a unique offering in their cuban tacos/burrito. just as delicious. to top it off, they have the best guacamole around! i've tried to copy it a hundred times, still unsuccessfully! you have to try this place! the owners are just as amazing as their food!

the perfect taco. i came late on a friday night. the place had been slammed and they were out of most everything on the menu. i had the shredded beef tacos. a perfect balance of a thick corn tortilla, wonderfully seasoned shredded beef, cabbage, baja sauce, uberfreshpico and cheese. first bite and i knew it was a special taco. this place can go toe to toe with any taco stand in southern california, san antonio or mehico. i hope benton shows this place plenty of love because this is taco shangri la.
