one of those places which has been designed with much love and planning. it's easily visible that the designer has put his / heart in the decor of the cafe. a awesome place to sit and cool with friends while you enjoy amazingfoodand not forget great coffee. a place to visit again and again in chandigarh. ps - you need to plan for parking as it's kinda tight. rest the staff is awesome and helps on choosing what you need. the music is slightly on the louder side but good selection !

the prices are too high for thefoodthey serve.. the place is tight and seating is uncomfortable.. also, the tables are not clean..

burger was ok. bad mozzarella balls.. nice ginger fizz and masala cola.. average iced tea.

backpackers cafe is my all time favourite cafe. it serves absolutely amazingfoodand it's one of those cafes i keep visiting from time to time because i just can't get over their food.
they have a really cordial staff and the service of thefoodis also quick. backpackers is also known for its breakfast.
my all time favourite dish of this place is the chicken lasagna along with fresh lime. apart from this, they have really nice soups, pizzas and all the dishes in the main course are worth a try.

majorly disappointed with thefoodquality and backpackers this time. the cake was overly sweet, the granola had some sort of gloop in it and the waffles were just a mess. this place used to be wonderful at some point in time. the only saviour was the coffee.

i actually never ever in a million years expected that i would be writing this kind of review , especially for this restaurant!
day before yesterday i went to sector 9 and i was kind of in the mood for somefoodfrom my favourite cafe( well not anymore , i think), so i got out of my car as i had to run some other errands and try to go inside the restaurant to place my order, but i was encountered by this very very rude security guard who was first of all sitting inside the restaurant even when he saw me and once i opened the door and entered, he jst abruptly and very very rudely in a judgmental tone told me to get out of the restaurant and place my order.
he didn’t even letme finish wat i was trying to ask him and jst said go outside, i understand that these are tough times going on and our safety is our utmost concern , but so is our courtesy, we cant jst turn into animals and shout at anyone.
i wasnt even going to sit there bcz i know seating is obviously unavailable and was only going to place my order , but his behaviour jst startled me and set the tone for my whole day, leaving my completely disheartened and disappointed.

i went here twice or thrice . it's a good and pocket friendly place .. it's more than a cafe the place is totally crowded with young youth ..
ambiance is awesome and place is so small and comfy

i ordered an item after discussing with the waiter and it turned out to be completely different. it tasted and looked worse than i expected. moreover when i complained about this order to the head , he didn't payed much attention to it.
p.s.- overpriced, poor qualityfoodwith shitty service. better go somewhere else.

greatfoodand ambiance are the highlights of bagpackers cafe which is ideally located . everything from their menu gets a thumbs up from me.

this is one fabulous cafè for close knit brunch dates. the quantity and quality offoodis marvelous and i personally recommend their iced latte and aranchini. the falafel burger is a good option too! it might seem a little over priced but thefoodjustifies all.

backpacker outlet located in sector 9 is a definite go to for people looking for goodfoodand shakes. thefoodis simply impeccable, the portion offered is fulfilling and the place is small, comfy, and cozy. sometimes it may be difficult to find a seat even. but this is what happens when there is 5 star service on the offer.

finally visited this place after a long wait. was amazed to see the ambience. the staff is courteous and helpful.foodoptions are plenty. we ordered club sandwich, atanchini , cookies and soups. the preparation looked quite clean and healthy.foodwas fantastic. its a decent place to sit and chat with your travel buddies.

the cafe happens to be one of the few old cafes which have managed to live up to its name. the interior of the cafe is a typical american setup. the menu is limited and so is the sitting area,however thefoodis fantastic. the vegetable lasagna is a must try.

visited last week. ordered the indian masala omelette and a veg baguette sandwich along with fresh fruit juices. thefoodwas good however i was put off by the service. was there for 50 mins from start to finish and the staff kept hovering around the table, clearing plates even before we could finish as if they could not wait to have the table vacant. it wasn't like the restaurant was running full and they wanted to turn the tables faster, there were 2 vacant tables throughout. for paying almost 1400 for a small breakfast, i expect to at least enjoy it in peace.
