staff : its like they my family now , go visit, your mom wouldn’t be serving you with so much love n care as they do.
ambience: good and attractive matches with the music they play! it’s different guys!
food : do one thing , close your eyes and place your finger randomly over the menu , and wherever it points , order that dish.. everything they serve ,everything they serve is tasty , cost worth and lip smacking.

backpackers cafe feels great. the warmth this place exudes is mainly cause of its excellent staff, and flawless cuisine.
mr narendra, and mr vivek, the two folks at the helm of their service, have smiles plastered on their faces, and they personalize the experience for each guest.
they have been here for the past 10 years, since it's very inception, and they know the value of customers.

try their fenugreek chicken.
it's not on the menu. it's a special they cook if you ask for it.
it's a modification of their chicken breast or chicken cacciatore, from the grill.
the gravy has a tinge of god in it. it was thick, luscious with hints of fenugreek, mint and curd cooked with extreme finesse.
the chicken was so well cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, that it took my taste buds on a twirl.

they serve grilled vegetables like baby corn, zucchini, brocolli, bell peppers and beans.

to add to that are the perfectly made mashed potatoes and 2 pieces of garlic bread

howcome everything they prepare comes out to be perfect. home-made ice-cream they serve has some kind of orgasmic feel. the pasta, pizza, sandwich, etc, you just pick from the menu....is simply awesome. one of my favourite’s and always on list to go and dine-in.

very nicely built interiors..a mix of vintage and sophistication..will surely fall in love with the decors..the food tastes equally good..and the service was quite good as well

the breakfast of mexican omelette, apple crumble and baked fish with salsa sauce was amazing and the helsinki smoothie to wash it down was brilliant also... always a great place to have breakfast and catch up

one of the best places to visit in chandigarh. the food is amazing. i usually order the chicken and tikka sandwich and veg pasta and both the dishes are absolutely delicious. highly recommended.

this is an amazing boutique cafe and not exactly what it sounds like. the place has some authentic mediterranean dishes on its menu and all preparations are lipsmacking and impeccable.

the taste is brilliant and portions are better than generous. the minestrone soup is flavourful and very comforting . it doubles up in taste when you accompany it with their artisan garlic bread.

the formagio sauce chicken pasta is to die for when u are hungry. and let me warm you that the portion is good enough to fill 3 people as the sauce is comprised of heavy cream n cheese.

the grilled fish was fine. the preparation was good but the smell in the fish just couldn't be enjoyed.

overall a great place for family and friends.

a staple for everytime i want to have good cheesecake. their cheesecake is anyday better than nickbakers! i suggest the caramel cheesecake with a coffee. decent place to stop by for dessert with friends.

we were searching for coffee and we saw the big backpacker's cafe board from the main road. we went in and ordered a basic cuppacino and one dark coffee banana shake. the shake was good, the cuppacino was too average. now the service was really slow. we had to ask for tissues. the waiter didn't even give us a straw with this bulky glass (we picked it up from some other table). also, the furniture seemed dirty. the table where we sat had some ac fittings on top that constantly had a leakage. this was clumsy experience and i didn't find the place worth the prize.

amazing food great ambiance good food and child friendly. loved the food .overall an awesome experience.when i walked in for the first time i asked for the recommendations and it was just delicious. so for 8years i have been coming here

has been my favourite cafe for ages. fast service and food that is consistent in quality and taste.... never lets you down. crowded in the evenings but that's to their credit.... everyone likes this place.... location which is bang in the middle of the gedi route definitely helps.

i have been visiting this place regularly for the last few years now. they serve great shakes, spaghetti, burgers among other things. i have never been disappointed by their hospitality and the quality of their food.

must try:

1. spaghetti bolognese (4/5)

2. tiramisu (4/5)

backpackers is a great coffee house! they have the best waiters in sector 9, and the best service. the food is simple continental which makes it easier for one to choose rather than blubbering dishes one can't pronounce! the food is amazing! it varies from chicken cacciatore to cola floats. the interior is amazing too!

the backpackers cafe's actually place was under renovation so they had shifted to the tattlers ,which i lived since i am very fond of their ambience..we were supposed to have a buffet dinner at holiday inn so i couldn't binge much..i really want to try their butter chicken burger next time..
so coming back to what i ordered
fried mozzarella cheese bombs with honey dip.
i love them..they were really crunchy..the mozzarella good quality n quantity n properly spiced.. however the dip wasn't my preference..i would have preferred something a lil tangy n spicy..
also they did veg fricassee for us as my partner couldn't have non veg..i felt the brocolli was lil less boiled..rest everything was good..
