there comes a time when you ask yourself: "am i willing to spend a weekend dinner tab on one feast?"
let me ask you something: "are you in vegas to have a time or save pennies at every corner?"
the bacchanal buffet has widely been considered the best buffet in vegas for years now. you're paying an arm and a leg for a feast. "well, why would i want to do that?" you ask? becuase this is a feast unlike any other.
boasting 400 seats, a friggin' gigantic selection of custom made dishes (no generic fare here) and a very large desert area, you will find no lack of items here. everything from a to z, but nothing simple in between. i guarantee you that you will not be able to try everythinggoodhere on your first go. that's a guarantee.
there was no food i was disappointed with here, with too many that i couldn't get all of them even if i induced vomiting to make more room (which thankfully i didn't do).i've included in the photos what i got, and yes, i did eat it all. at least the main dishes, got about halfway through deserts before my arm went numb. yes that's an expression, but i was absolutely stuffed.
i ended up going on the peak time of dinner on a saturday evening, and ended up waiting over an hour for the food. totally worth it. apparently they say the food is the same on regular days so i'll come back then when it's less busy and cheaper.
would i go back? in a heartbeat. there was no part that was disappointing and i would easily drop the cash to go back. it's a vegas must for me now, and if your looking for a top notch buffet experience, look no further, or try and not be successful. this is the buffet that sits on top of the pyramid and passes judgement on lesser buffets. truly a feast for a king.
just rainking the food here and not the service (because i've only been there once), i give it a full 5/5. too expensive, yes, but would do it anyways.
