this is a restaurant that i bumped into while driving around hunting for a good shawarma. what attracted me to this place was the queue outside the restaurant waiting for their orders to be delivered and the volume of people who were actually approaching the place.
the order was taken promptly by the manager of the restaurant, however, though it was just 2 shawarmas, i had to wait around 40 minutes for it to be prepared for us. the staff work very haphazardly, where customers coming in (apparently regulars at the restaurant as they seemed to knew people there) and jumping the queue and kept getting their orders delivered to them before me. i kept waiting there and reminding the staff that i am just waiting for 2 shawarmas, but was just gestured to wait and that it will take 5 minutes.
finally, the manager/cashier saw me waiting and getting agitated and decided to pitch in to have my order handed over to me.
the place was definitely not somewhere i would go back to, even though the shawarmas are very cheaply priced; at the end of the day they were not worth the effort and time wasted. in an industry that works on service and word of mouth, this place really needs to up its game.
