what we ordered
mixed platter - good
arise - great
lamb kebab - great

new restaurant is huge but still crowded! so we decided to go for take away order.
mutton arise are delicious, good amount of meat inside. kebab plate comes with 4 pc kebab, delicious humus & garlic sauce, salad, fries. i like mainly the kebabs in the mixed platter, that's why rated "good" . if you love chops, chicken tikka, then there shouldn't be any problem!

one of the best shawarma i had in uae. the area was bit crunchy coz of the place where it was put up initially , but now it had been shifted to a new place in ajman one building ! amazing place, good ambiance and of course the food too. try the arabic meat shawarma and chicken charcoal, its worth trying.

how a zomato review can be misleading. staff do not attend to you as they are staffed short and all a mess.. take aways are given priority. when asked for something for the kid the purser suggests cordon blue dish which is huge for a kid and without asking what meat would we prefer, he gives us beef where we do not eat the same. moreover we asked a desert which was ultimately not served as our hunger had died over the time that was taken to serve. so many families left as they were not attended and there were so many quarrels on a friday night. children were not served and they were getting hunger pangs.
very bad service and i will never suggest anyone to go here.
first diappointment and the purser says do not eat arabic dishes if you dont know and do not come to a arabic restaurant.

bab al hara is what defines the face of al sawan. although you cannot exactly call it a "fine dining" experience in all retrospect, bab al hara offers a unique dining experience purely from the high quality and immensely delicious food it serves. most of the food, including the ever famous shawarma, is prepared in plain sight and the skill and expertise that goes into making anything in that open kitchen is noticeable. the hygiene is of good quality. the service is quick and accurate with little to no delay. it is hard not to tip your waiter. even with all this said, i would not give this restaurant a 5/5 rating simply because of the fact that there is not enough space to sit down and enjoy your food. but recent news suggests that they might be moving to a bigger location with a lot more space, so till then i rate bab al hara 4.5/5

surprisingly quite good. ordered tabbouleh, lamb chops, kebab and taouq which were tasty and prepared well. lebanese arayess was soggy, the cheese rkakat (samosa) were lacking cheese, the soujok was more like makanek with mildly spicey tomato sauce. delivery punctuality was almost respected and the meat was still hot. all in all good. will try something from his menu in the future.

i have gone there in order to taste the long recommended shawerma. frankly, the experience wasn't bad. the shawermas were large, tasty, and mouthwatering. most importantly, they were not dry.

on the other hand, the staff were divided into ro halves. the incredibly respectful ones and the annoyingly rude ones....

regarding for the prices, they were so cheap and affordable. they were so completely worth it to be honest.

the location is not totally strategic, due to the limited parking spots and the extremely small size of the outlet. the outlet dine in wasn't clean and tidy, which made it a bit disgusting.

i recommend the restaurant for people who are going to 'grab and go', and not dining it. and the meal, shall be the arabic chicken shawerma.

this place has the best food for cheap in ajman ! i've been ordering from it since it was opened ! would heavily recommend the mansaf there and the shawerma
very hygienic, even though the surrounding environment doesn't suggest that but it is.

pretty much the best shawermas in ajman. the place is very crowded even on normal days but it's worth the wait. the tawkook sandwich is really tasty and filling one tawkook sandwich would be enough for a person. would definitely recommend to visit this place if you live in ajman

great shawarmas!

i personally love the meat shawarma in tanoor bread. it is really good. the meat is paired well with parsley and cheese. they toast the shawarma on a flat iron.

i have also had their grilled chicken (half) and the portion size was amazing. the chicken was well marinated and the garlic sauce was lovely.

the service is always great considering that they are usually very busy.

overall, a must try for all shawarma lovers.

this place used to have a really good shawarma ( beef one is the best the chicken one tastes like it was bought from an entirely different shop and kinda bad ) and now a;; their food tastes different
the only negative thing about this place is that they never listen if you have any special request. like i hate pickles and i keep telling them dont add pickles and when i get my order i always find extra portion of pickles . i even went once their and told them dont add pickles and the man just added pickles like i wasnt even there.

taste 4.5/5
ambiance 3.5/5
service 4/5
menu variety 4/5
time 4/5
cleanliness 4/5
value for money 5/5

found this place off zomato and made an effort to go there. parking wasn't an issue when we went around 8pm on a friday; but i assume that as the night settles in the place would get busier. don't get me wrong.. there were nearly 20 odd customers ahead of me to get their order.

interior wise the place is very basic and definitely a no no to take your family along for dine-in. however most of the customers are people to eat in their car or there for take-away.

food wise, the shawarma are well done. the bread is the winner which as against a regular arabic bread is a crisp, thin layer of bread. the meat cuts of the shawarma are nice, juicy and they add garlic paste to the base (no tahina surprisingly). they "cook" the shawarma on the griller for few mins before they wrap it up for the customer.

do ask for customization (no garlic or no potato) and they will oblige. one thing that surprised me was that they didn't offer any pickles, which was kind of disappointing.

next time i will order the arabic shawarma which i guess is slightly better.

all in all, not "the best shawarma" i have had, but certainly one of the best. will i go there again... umm... traffic is an issue getting there, otherwise if i am in the area, surely a quick bite from here would be on my to-do list.

very nice mutton shawarma. juicy one indeed. have tried alot of shawarmas in ajman. it's similar to the one in nuaimia reef al shami's shawarma. perfect package in perfect price. their shawarma is enough to get the idea what sort of grills they offer.
