excellent service by angel for this pharma dinner, in a cosy room that accommodated 15 and good technology set up. on the app platter the crab cakes were delicate and well seasoned, and the smoky bacon wrapped shrimp expertlycookedto perfection. salad with champagne vinaigrette a bit drenched (i had asked for it on the side, got about twice what one might apply) but tasty. asked for filet and double asparagus (and no mashed potatoes), seem to have gotten double potatoes instead. potatoes were lightly garlic flavored and delightfully fluffy. filet was well aged and truly melted in mouth, delightful with sauce. chocolate raspberry tart yummy but nothing special. nice food and setting in downtown greensboro.

comparison of 3 visits to b. christiphers. my wife and i have eaten at b. christopher's 3 times-once in burlington which was excellent and not as pricy as in greensboro. we've eaten two times in greensboro. the first time the food was excellent except for the fact that our steak, whilecookedto perfection and was very tender, was cold. service was excellent. the second visit recently was not as good an experience as the first. the meat again was cold and the sides- the corn dish was slightly burnt, and the brussel sprouts were not as flavorful as first visit. service while great, i would rather have an excellent meal. the restaurant has moved into a high rent district in greensboro with limited parking available. we will try the restaurant again to see if our last visit was due to being extremely busy night and an anomaly or is what to be expected ever time.

a+ food and service. my husband and i had dinner at bchristopher's new restaurant in greensboro this past friday evening. the atmosphere was quietly elegant, and the service was excellent. nice wine list. the caesar salad was delicious. i had a hot appetizer for my dinner, puff pastry with an artichoke filling which was wonderful. my husband had the tuna, which was perfectlycookedand very fresh. burlington's loss is certainly greensboro's gain. we wish you well, chris.

nice locally owned steak house. this is a very, very good, locally owned steak house - beef is the headliner, as it should be, but the supporting cast more than holds its own here. the service, once in gear, is excellent. the wine list is more than adequate, if a little on the pricey side. the apps, salads, sides, and soups are more than just nice - they definitely add to the experience.

the first impression here is that of a small place, but that would be misleading. rooms are plentiful, rambling in nature, seating is abundant. the bar is narrow, compact, but attractive. the martini cold and consists of a large pour.

now the food: the oysters rockfeller were close to the best i've been served - the fresh, crumbled bacon absolutely set off the large, moist oysters. the wedge salad was fresh, and loaded with flavor. the french onion soup continuedthe theme - excellent, rich broth; great onions and cheese.

the bone-in ribeye (22 oz) is very nice - andcookedat rare+ as requested. this entree is designed to be shared, and you get a side , as well - i would recommend the onion crisps and fries - life is short, so if you become addicted to them, how long can it last?.

the wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable, the kitchen quick and efficient - the chef brought our steak to the table, and wanted to be sure the preperation was what we wanted - it was. this is not an inexpensive place, but the pricing is in line with the quality here. we'll be back.
