two thumbs up!. when we arrived in denver, our hotel shuttle driver suggested this restaurant for dinner. i am very glad that we followed his advice. the three of us were all very impressed with appaloosa grill.
service: we were greeted by a very friendly hostess, sat right away and had a great server. she kept our drinks full and checked on us the right amount of times. she was friendly, efficient and knew the menu well.
food: everything on the menu looked really good. i love that this restaurant, like many in denver, are conscious of people with dietary restrictions. they had items marked if they were gluten-free and/or vegetarian. i ordered the falafel platter which was really delicious. the falafel was cooked to crispy perfection, the greens were fresh and dressed with a yummy balsamic sauce, and the hummus was very flavorful. the two other girls ordered a black beanburgerand a bison burger. they both enjoyed their burgers and the fries were perfectly crunchy!
ambiance: it has a very dark, sexy, hipster kind of vibe. it was a little loud and the bar was packed with good-looking people. something we all really enjoyed was the music that they played. very good soundtrack to a delicious meal.
