worst welcome ever!. i have to say that the biggest cause of giving this review was due to the terrible attitude we got from the lady at the door. we had made reservations through opentable as saturday may 29 was a day full of events downtown. we wanted to make sure that we got a table and not have to wait to be seated. wrong! as soon as i mentioned this fact, this woman proceeded to seat everyone else except us, and when we finally were seated, it was at probably the worst table at the place. we had to then wait for almost 40 minutes to get our order. food was good, and the waitress made sure that we got what we wanted. however, i will definitely not be back. a customer should be treated with respect. i will make sure my friends know of this as well.

great place for a casual dinner. the bison chili was fantastic and the bison steak was cooked perfectly to order. good seasoning on everything. the potatoes had a really nice "kick" to them. they also have a unique and very goo selection of single malt scotches and the service was great. i highly recommend this place!

open late. live music. they offer food all night. burger was really good. appreciated there was a place to have drinks and grab food late night. would definitely come back again.

single use toilets are always pretty annoying. also, the $21 burger was worth about half that. judging the restaurant solely on the burger, i'm forced to assume that the rest of the menu is overpriced.

we were on the quest for a good happy hour in downtown denver. during the summertime it’s a sin to sit inside when there is great patio seating to be found. appaloosa grill did the trick. great outside seating and good beer on tap. i settled for the left-hand milk stout and a burger. others on the quest enjoyed a nice, juicy ruben, with some fried polenta and a chocolate ice cream sundae chaser. how could anything mentioned here taste bad! i never said we were on a healthy happy hour quest.

walking distance to/from the dcpa, this is a fun, funky bar with a very good happy hour menu. their 'mystery shots' are inventive and inexpensive. food is good. service is very good. both the chef and the gm stopped by our table to say hi and ask if everything was ok.

good food and service. we went before a show at the paramount and had a great time. food was delicious, drinks were yummy and the service was great for us.

good service. i found the best service here of the few places i went in denver. it was relaxed but the food was very good. we left before the band came out (around 10) but it would probably be very loud in such a small place.

the four points turkey sandwich is on point. i would come back just for this! the truffle fries are also fantastic.

visiting denver for the week and decided to stop by appaloosa grill. truly amazing food and great service!!!!! i had the quattro fromaggio macaroni with blackened chicken. to finish off this great meal... a new twist on tres leches cake.

stuck up server. if your not a hippie or a business man working downtown skip this place! the judgmental eyes for being in jeans and a t shirt were felt. ordered poppers and they were ice cold in the middle told the server and she told me that was impossible! i said stick your finger in there. luckly we had not ordered food yet so we were able to walk out no money spent.

snobby server. we came here for drinks and appetizers, which were ok. nice drink selection, the appetizers weren't great though.
the problem was our server. he was extremely arrogant about how 'only the cool people in the know come to this bar... that its definitely not for out of towers'. as out of towers, he definitely rubbed us the wrong way.

scrumptious st. patty's day meal. the nice selection of beers on tap, attentive wait-staff and excellent meal made for a fun, casual lunch on st. patrick's day. we decided to forego the special of corned beef & cabbage and decided upon each getting a cup of pork and vegetarian green chili for our appetizers, a caesar salad with grilled chicken for myself and the peppercorn steak with mushrooms, mashed potatoes and sautéed kale for b. all the food was absolutely delicious and was presented well. the staff was exceedingly professional for the restaurant venue. bonus - live guitar player strumming in the background. we will be back.
