amigos is where it's at! yo.... amigos is where it's at!
you have to give it to amigos! the food is spot on... your going to have a hard time finding this quality of food at many other places in the city for the price.
the veggie burger is to die for. i don't think there is a better in the city(and if you eat meat add bacon) you won't regret it!

fantastic.. a hidden gem. this is a particular find for somewhere to go on a friday or saturday evening for dinner, when everywhere else in saskatoon is a 30 minute wait. amigos always has room! the burritos are fantastic, the enchiladas could use a little more 'sauce'.

fun n loud. wonderful atmosphere, just what we needed when we moved to a brand new city, let alone country! when that waitress brought me over a black n tan i was in love. my family (of 4) all ordered different types of food and loved it! and too boot a band was setting up and starting to jam, we enjoyed that, but got booted b/c (and understandle) the children were not of age :d
we loved the people watching too ;)

great food. while the atmosphere leaves something to be desired, it is a bar after all, the food was very good as was the service. we went on a saturday evening around 6pm and the place was very busy and looked like it had already had a busy day. i had the double grilled chicken quesadilla which comes with a side of house or caesar salad. they make their salad dressings in house and i had the house with creamy raspberry vinaigrette. it all came on a huge dinner plate and while it could have been warmer, it was very tasty.
hubby had beef enchiladas with green chile and tomato sauce, there were 3 enchiladas each about 4" long on the plate with mexi rice (the rice has cheese in it) on either side and a small side dish of beans and he thoroughly enjoyed it all.
we will definitely go back again.

i came here for lunch a while back and got the pineapple and shrimp quesadilla. it was excellent. hands down, the best quesadilla i've ever had. i plan on going back.

the food was delicious and reasonable. the atmosphere was really relaxed and the service was great. i'll definatly be back!

the price hikes on the menu are huge. your clientele is made up of students and nutana locals .. not shirt and ties. some of the items on your menu have junked more that $5. not fair.

we came here for dinner tonight. this was my first time coming here and i would definitely come back! the food was fresh and delicious! i tried the chicken quesadilla with casa salad! i loved the sun-dried tomato salad dressing! our waitress was okay, not great. she was not overly energetic or happy to serve us.

my review is low because of their lack of transparency in their menu. first of all, their mexi-rice uses chicken stock. vegetarians and vegans innocently ordering mexi-rice as a side or with one of the vegetarian dishes (it's offered as a side) beware. this isn't listed anywhere on their menu, and there are plenty of other mexican restaurants that do not use chicken stock in their rice. there's no reason to keep that information hidden. second, their veggie burger has egg in the patty, but this is not listed. while the menu appears sensitive to gluten allergies, there's not enough information in the menu for someone who's staying away from meat  or meat-by-products to make an informed decision unless they make the time to ask their server what is in every dish. that said, i like the ambience of amigos. the variety of beer is good, service is great. the place is very family friendly in the early evening (no change tables in either bathroom however) and it's a great place to hang out with lots of people - you can really cram lots of friends around a table for a celebration. amigos! please consider making your menu more clear! (& everyone tip your servers!!!!)

the food used to be really good. i normally get the burritos and sometimes the enchiladas. recently i got the burrito with shredded chicken. what sucked about my burrito is that it was only filled with shredded chicken and nothing else. no cheese, veggies, rice....nothing. they used to fill up their burritos with more than just meat but in the last number of years they excluded everything else. i usually got excited about the bbq beans (it was the best beans in the city) but this last time i went there, the beans weren't up to par. the side of rice is always really hard and dry at amigos but i don't mind eating it because it has decent flavour to it. i've given this place so many chances and each time it has gotten worse so i probably won't go back.

pretty good would be nice to see texas caviar on the side for that authentic tex-mexy. friendly staff. thought the table vinegar was texas sauce; won't make that mistake twice!

i'm always very impressed with the quality and consistency of amigos. i've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience.  check it out!!!

i had nachos and they were the worst nachos i have ever had. i should not have paid for them. i guess i shouldn't have ate them and just walked out but me and my friend were hungry. they were completely over cooked.

i crave eating at this place! one of my favourite places to eat with friends or before watching a show. chicken enchiladas are super good and a gear value for the amount of food you get.

enjoyed lunch here on a wednesday, the gf and i both ordered the ancho chicken enchiladas. i could taste a very slight stale taste to the chicken in the enchilada, the gf never noticed anything with hers, but with enough hot sauce and a couple cold pints to wash it down with...i still ate the whole thing.
i think the next stop for mexican fare will be la bambas.
