you have to give it to amigos! thefoodis spot on... your going to have a hard time finding this quality offoodat many other places in the city for the price.
the veggie burger is to die for. i don't think there is a better in the city(and if you eat meat add bacon) you won't regret it!

fun n loud. wonderful atmosphere, just what we needed when we moved to a brand new city, let alone country! when that waitress brought me over a black n tan i was in love. my family (of 4) all ordered different types offoodand loved it! and too boot a band was setting up and starting to jam, we enjoyed that, but got booted b/c (and understandle) the children were not of age :d
we loved the people watching too ;)

great food. while the atmosphere leaves something to be desired, it is a bar after all, thefoodwas very good as was the service. we went on a saturday evening around 6pm and the place was very busy and looked like it had already had a busy day. i had the double grilled chicken quesadilla which comes with a side of house or caesar salad. they make their salad dressings in house and i had the house with creamy raspberry vinaigrette. it all came on a huge dinner plate and while it could have been warmer, it was very tasty.
hubby had beef enchiladas with green chile and tomato sauce, there were 3 enchiladas each about 4" long on the plate with mexi rice (the rice has cheese in it) on either side and a small side dish of beans and he thoroughly enjoyed it all.
we will definitely go back again.

we came here for dinner tonight. this was my first time coming here and i would definitely come back! thefoodwas fresh and delicious! i tried the chicken quesadilla with casa salad! i loved the sun-dried tomato salad dressing! our waitress was okay, not great. she was not overly energetic or happy to serve us.

thefoodused to be really good. i normally get the burritos and sometimes the enchiladas. recently i got the burrito with shredded chicken. what sucked about my burrito is that it was only filled with shredded chicken and nothing else. no cheese, veggies, rice....nothing. they used to fill up their burritos with more than just meat but in the last number of years they excluded everything else. i usually got excited about the bbq beans (it was the best beans in the city) but this last time i went there, the beans weren't up to par. the side of rice is always really hard and dry at amigos but i don't mind eating it because it has decent flavour to it. i've given this place so many chances and each time it has gotten worse so i probably won't go back.

i crave eating at this place! one of my favourite places to eat with friends or before watching a show. chicken enchiladas are super good and a gear value for the amount offoodyou get.

this place is a little bit dark (even when there isn't a show happening), a little bit divey, and doesn't encourage feelings of cleanliness. however, you can have a really good time here.foodportions are huge, hearty, and delicious. i'm not sure how authentic it is, but i'm a fan. ancho chicken and nachos = always winners.

been here a couple of times recently for lunch. both the mexican and regularfoodis good. service both times has been friendly.fooddoes take a while. the atmosphere here is not your usual restaurant as it does double as an established (old) bar at night. only suggestion i have is that the kids menu needs a bit of work.

i like thefoodand i know the dingy dirty old dining room is a saskatoon tradition, but come on - time to change baby's diaper with a remodel.

i went here in two consecutive days because thefoodwas so good. the first time i was here is on a sunday night, and it was really busy. the service was slow and a bit inattentive. i waited for a long time for the waitress to take my order and during the whole entire night she did not really check on me for water or food.
however, the second time i was there, it was on a monday afternoon not during lunch. the service was good and the server was really polite and attentive. so i guess the service can be a hit or miss.

let's talk about the food, i order the chimichanga with beef and bean filling. the jalapeño sauce went so prefect with the crispy tortilla! the filling tasted fantastic and there are so much of it! i also love the black bean that are on the side. the only downfall on this dish is the mexi rice, it was dried and cold. there are lump of dried rice that were crunchy. not impressed.
the second time i was there, i can't resist to order the tomatillos beef enchilada. it was so cheesy and this time the rice is done perfectly. the beef enchilada have a hints of sourness, i wonder what would that be. but it tasted really good with everything though so it did not bother me much.
i also order rock creek cider as my drink, it was cold and i like the apple flavour.
overall, i like theirfoodand i will be back to try their taco salad and nacho! when it was served on other table, they just look so delicious!

decent mexicanfoodin a casual setting. i usually get the crab enchilada--i have an affinity for fake crab--which is tasty. have a lot of friends who go here for concerts, but i have yet to.

this place has pleasantly surprised me. i came here a few years ago and it was certainly a dive. thefoodwas beyond greasy and the bar itself was dingy looking. there must have been a renovation of the menu and decor. my quesadilla and enchilada were very scrumptious. and not any grease to be seen or tasted! i went during a very busy time and waited for myfoodfor an hour. i was a little annoyed by that but i didn't complain. our waitress came to us and said that we got 15% off of our bill for waiting so long and so patiently. i thought that was very considerate. i will definitely make a visit back to amigos in the future.

the kids love the bison burgers and we the lila mole fajitas. always good if you are in mood of a spontanious cooking strike

good food, slow service. thefoodis good enough to always make me come back, yet everytime i'm finding i'm waiting a good twenty mins on service. if they just had better service this would be a top notch place. luckily thefoodis just damn good to save their a$$
