my dinner visit did not include a buffet option which i have read is quite good. the dinner options of vegetable korma and lamb curry came with raita, dal, curried cabbage and nan. i substituted the nan for onion kulcha which was exceptionally good. the cabbage and the korma were also very tasty. our server was gracious and attentive. the restaurant seemed to be doing a good take out business.

i love this place, the food is fantastic and the staff are very kind. i would recommend eating at the buffet so you can try many dishes. authentic tastes.

don't let the location or looks of this place put you off, the food is outstanding. not had a bad meal here ever! been going to this place for nearly 10 years. on weekends they do a buffet. normally i'm not a fan of buffets because i would rather have a single greet dish than many meh dishes. but this buffet is the exception! they make some really quality food and have a great selection of dishes. if you want to sample a lot of the menu go for the weekend lunch buffet. then go back for dinner and order the full dinner portion of your favorite item.

i had paneer tikka masala and it was amazing! 5 stars for flavor! if i lived closer i'd come back (live 4 hours away). naan bread was fresh and perfect. fantastic food and inexpensive. best of both worlds!

wow wow wow. what a find. best in vancouver. better than my favorite portland indian. first look in the door i thought the offerings were few. but it actually has more. & lot different offerings than the standard indian restaurant fare. delicious spicing. some pretty fiery. gotta put up some pix

wonderful lunch buffet. easy to find, and literally right off the highway. friendly owner. great buffet with lots of choices, and they charge $10 no matter what day it is, unlike some places that up the price on weekends. delicious naan, chicken makhani, eggplant, okra and spinach dishes. i especially loved the carrot dessert. will be back here often.

this is family cookin'.... this is the first time i really felt like i was graciously invited to an indian family's house to eat. not one--repeat--not one bite was off. veg dishes, rice, meats, naan, pakoras, gulab juman dessert, lassi's; all of it was eye-rolling good. the perfect place to have our 9-year old try indian for the first time. and man, did we walk away with plenty of leftovers to enjoy for a late night snack. couple of stand-outs to mention were: the tandoori chicken was wicked spicy hot (i loved it); the naan for all was very generous; and the chutneys were mild. bent the ear of the owner about how business was, and while we were chatting, several groups of gringos were already being seated for a feast. indian food west of the cascades is fantastic...

delicious dinner. there were 8 of us, and we ordered the full dinner with our entrees. it was a great way to sample several dishes. each of the entrees was delicious. i had the saag paneer, my dinner companions had various lamb and chicken dishes, and we all shared. great service, taking our dishes & glasses out of the way and offering refills. they allowed us plenty of time to eat before bringing dessert; it was perfect for our group, but not if you are in a hurry.

yum. we had been here years ago and just stopped going for some reason. went back tonight and were very pleasantly surprised. lots of food for a very good price. papadam for the table app, with the three sauces. they were good. masala dosa was well done with a nice crispy crust but still soft in the middle. nice spice on the potato filling, with just a hint of heat. we had chicken-tika-masala, navaratan korma, and lamb pasanda. all were excellent. i really enjoyed the korma, with huge chunks of the veggies with that wonderful smooth korma sauce. lamb was super tender and nicely done. very sorry we have not stopped in lately, we will be back.

we just ate at chutneys on 164th and, while we enjoyed our meal, unanimously agreed that abhiruchi is head and shoulders better. next time, we know where we're going...

we have had a number of great experiences here, both for eat in and take away. the restaurant is very clean, the food is delicious and the service is friendly and efficient; the waiter advised us that the meals we were ordering were very similar in heat (mild) and recommended an alternate spicier meal if we were planning on sharing, which we were. i was worried it would be too spicy (we chose vindaloo) and they were prepared to de-spice it or change it if it was... it wasn't, it was delicious and we have found our favorite indian restaurant. great selection, reasonable prices, very recommended.

good lunch buffet. i brought a group of co-workers to lunch here to try out the buffet. it was very good although a bit heavy on the vegetarian plates. but it's a good mix and i highly recommend for a quick lunch. i prefer my indian food very spicy so a little disappointed in the 'heat'. but several co-workers had never eaten at an indian restaurant and they thought the food was perfect - so probably great for the average diner. i've heard good things about dinner here so i'll try that next. the high rating on urbanspoon is justified. try it, you'll be happy you did.

excellent lunch buffet!. when i worked for a local company we'd often come here for the lunch buffet. i was in the area last week and i'm happy to report it is still an excellent choice! great selection, fresh, hot and tasty as hell. and as has been mentioned, the absolute best naan around. the perfect balance of char, smoke and chewiness.
make it a point to try the lunch buffet, i can't speak to any other service offered but this one feature alone keeps this place on my must do list when i am within a reasonable drive at lunchtime.

always have enjoyed the food. if you like buffets their lunch buffet is good and reasonably priced. if buffets aren't your thing go for dinner; the food is delicious. service can be a little cold but food makes up for it.

absolutely wonderful indian food! the smell of indian spices consumes you as you walk in the door and the food is delightful!
