make the trip!. thisplaceis really good. there are lots of choices for mexican food in the metro but this should be on everyone's list. as a first timer, we were given some tacos right as we sat down. i wish i would have asked them to keep sending them for my order. took home 1/2 my order for lunch, big portions. saw my buddies eat a monstrous burrito that will definitely be tried at some point.

the best tex-mex in okc!. this is our favorite authentic tex-mex restaurant in the okc area. they have good prices and great food. the service is always friendly and quick. sometimes it's crowded but just come back another time or wait for a seat. the manager (owner?) is normally comes by to say hello and check if everything was good. it's nice to have visit aplacewhere you are appreciated as a customer.

muy bueno!. this is aplacethe local mexicans come to eat. it's more mex-tex than tex-mex, with real mexican meat varieties instead of the beef-flavored mystery meat at taco bell. everything i had was very competently done, and the staff is very friendly and helpful and solicitous. i'll be back and bring friends. also a good value, prices very reasonable. muchas gracias, amigos!

theplacewas so cold i left my coat on until the food arrived.  the menu was unreadable and did not describe the food properly from what i could read.  ordered a chicken taco salad and it was more like a soup.  i was not happy and will not go back again.  this used to be a nice place, what happened.

one if our favorite mexican restaurants. we travel quite often to ixtapa mexico and the food here is as close to the same as possible. it's the real deal. if you like authentic mexican restaurant check thusplaceout. try a cold bear in a frosted fish bowl, you won't be disappointed. i usually order the bestek ranchero with cameron's.

great authentic mexican food. found thisplaceby accident after leaving the outlet mall. i got the super grande burrito, it definitely lived up to its name. this burrito can easily be shared with your lady or kids. the staff is friendly and work hard to take care of you.

thisplacehas a good mixture of mexican and tex mex cuisine. the one thing you will most assuredly want to try is the al pastor served in any manner you choose but i personally feel that the taco works best.

great find in mexican cuisine. wife an i found by looking for dinner.placewas almost full on a sunday evening. we were seated immediately and served in a timely manor very professional. both our meals were excellent. i cooked for years and consider this top noch.

amazing!. one of our favorite places to go if craving authentic mexican food. the tacos calvillo are so flavorful and delicious as are many other things on the menu. service is always great and very attentive. thisplaceis hands down, one of the best in okc! we often compare other mexican restaurants to this one when we venture out.

oh my goodness!. friday night out with friends and we landed at abels ... the service was outstanding and the food was out of this world good!

the fajita beef salad plate was licked clean!!!

the chili relenio and cheese enchilada were both devoured!!!

the mini tacos were uniquely presented and enough for us to have leftover for supper again 2 nights later!!!

the sopapilias were deslish!!!

can't think of a betterplaceto share with friends and family

you must give thisplacea try ... and soon!!!

sadly typical - expansion delivers poor results. this was our family go toplacefor authentic mexican fair
( not tex-mex)
we made a journey to bethany last saturday. food has gone from superb to just ok . spice was absent, food was more like taco bell than an authentic family mexican establishment .
well - guess its back to san marcos .

went here for lunch today, it was amazing! fresh fruit being cut for flavored waters when i walked in, a great first impression. i was with a regular and she did receive some special attention, so that may have made a difference, but we had relish, fried onions and jalepenos, and some little tacos before our food made it to the table. when the food arrived everything was hot and fresh. i cant wait to go back, this is my new go toplacefor mexican food! be sure to try one of the flavored waters when you visit.

we've been to abel's twice and can now proclaim it a favorite! great food and service, and the price points are right. don't be swayed away by any negative review (notice there not many to be found) and check it out yourself. delicious!

great food and staff. this will be to the point; the food is excellent and the staff are very attentive and work well with and for each other. this is a very goodplaceto eat some very good mexican food. a new "favorite"placeto go in okc.
