food here was always decent. visited like 3 times already and it never fails to hit the spot when craving for a quick fix of everything you want for breakfast (tip: eatigo has 50% off on theirbuffetbfast so check it out). selection is not that many but hey for the price who would complain? 👌

we had our breakfast here today. it's located at their penthouse and it has a smoking area outside. will give you access to the roofdeck - good place to chill at night 😊

the breakfastbuffetis superb. i loved their eggplant parmigiana, its super duper perfect!!

we ordered spicy gyoza & mexican fries. we loved the fries and the gyoza was okay. unfortunately, their whiskey sour was a disappointment. too expensive for how it tasted.

i wouldn't recommend their breakfastbuffetbecause of lack of variety. there's the staple egg station but no bacon. they also ran out of their yummy ham and didn't refill anymore. they changed it with something less yummy. they were a bit slow in refilling the dishes.

would i eat here again? yes, if i have no choice and i'm checked in at the hotel. will i look forward to eating here again? no.

i arrived at 9 spoons just in time for there breakfastbuffetand it cost php 500 plus . typical food for a breakfastbuffetwhat i like most is there ham and the sauce of it. what i like most is the view. the location of this restaurant is in the 💓 💓 💓 heart of manila . the spectacular view of manila city and the city hall of manila and the golf course and intramuros is just around the corner. intramuros is an historical place in the heart 💓 💓 💓 of the city. a nostalgic place . staff are friendly and accommodating...

we arrived at 10 am so we just opted for the breakfast buffet. they have salad bar, 4 types of cheese, cold cuts, eggs, pastries, cereals, juices, champorado, garlic rice, daing na bangus, fried chicken, pancit canton, and sausage. bfastbuffetends at 1030 am, but the waiters were so nice to ask us for any food that we still wanted even if it was past 1030 am already. our waiter just served them on plate. great customer service. fantastic view of the golf course and manila city hall. couldn't say anything about the food quality -- just the same with other hotel restaurants.

thanks eatigo for the discount.

while i didn't find sky deck'sbuffet(when they moved it to 9 spoons due to bad weather) appealing, 9 spoon's was the exact opposite. though both have limited choices, but its breakfast is definitely delicious! love their tapa, longganisa, danish and salad, even a simple plain pan de sal tastes good, it's crispy outside, soft and hot inside specially spread with butter, really heavenly. service is impeccable. and the best part, we availed the eatigo's 50% off promo, so it's around php250/head, what better way to start a day but to have a hearty and delectable breakfast at a pocket friendly price.

super cheap lunch- literally and figuratively. the food was just so plain. the taste was nothing worth remembering. the lechon was not crispy, the salad was soggy, even the spring rolls were oily. i wouldn’t be caught eating abuffethere again, ever.

ambiance was likewise so-so. the waiters i understand were all students or trainees, but they were simply hovering all over the place, instead of making sure that thebuffetwas maintained.

only the apple pie saved rating for
the day. it was topnotch! the crust was well baked. the filling was made of apples cooked in syrup, the hard way.

going to 9spoons is a crime, should one expect a decent spread!

they serve abuffetfor p700 but we decided to order ala carte. from their menu we ordered their all day tapa served in a stone-like hot pot for p300. it comes with atchara and an egg and ofcourse rice. the stone pot is a cute touch on their part. but i am reminded of rice topping in a fancy bowl or korean bibimbap. kidding aside the flavor of the tapa is really good. you have the balance of the sweetness and saltiness plus the sourness of the vinegar and atchara. another dish we ordered is their batangas beef ribs for p390 (can't remember if it was 390 but it was 300+) i truly savored every bite. they flavored the meat with a sweet and sour flavor almost like an adobo then they deep fried it until it was crispy but not dry. the meat was so tender and falvorful. it almost melts in your mouth! they served it with more atchara and the traditional filipino sawsawan, soy sauce and vinegar.

had a romantic valentine dinnerbuffethere with my hubby. i was so delighted upon seeing the place (plus, hubby's effort to surprise me :) ).  i so love the ambiance, food and the view of manila's golf course. situated at bayleaf hotel, this is a perfect place for romantic dates and business meetings. be sure to make a reservation during red letter days.

place has a good view of manila city, but their breakfastbuffethad very limited options. they only offered like 5 types of viand, 2 types of bread, and everything else, like the rice and soup, only had one variant. taste isn't bad and service is decent, but for abuffetplace leaves much to be desired.

it was my first time to step foot at the bayleaf hotel, and my first time to try 9 spoons due to a corporate function. i have a high expectations since it won a lot of awards and highly mentioned. sadly, i was disappointed.

for thebuffetspread, we had several dishes that included pasta, chicken, fish, pork, beef, vegetables, salads, and dessert. most of the dishes were dry, especially the fish. i think i appreciated the salads and pasta, but since it was a penne carbonara, i quickly became satiated. the pumpkin and carrot soup was ok, but it got saltier in the end. the bread and butter was the best dish for the night, it was flavorful and light. the chocolate cake with caramel is also good. unfortunately, no round two for me. and when asked, if i wanted to take any leftovers, i declined.

i hope they can do better. i hope to try their real breakfast and lunch spread soon.

this is the worst tastingbuffeti have had in my entire life.

i had to ask the waiter to change my plate for five times. the plates were oily and seems like it was unwashed.

service was terrible. the food was not even hot. the pork loin was tough and too dry. the soup was very salty (misua with patola), seems like the whole container of salt fell inside the soup. squid ink rice noodle had no taste at all. the coffee was terrible. if they served nescafe 3-in-1 it would have been way better than what they gave me.

the only thing i liked were the beef caldareta and the halo halo.

breakfastbuffet#3 (840am 22aug2015

highly recommended: proper pinoy breakfast is tapa and fried sunny side up egg which is done wonderfully by 9spoons

wifey liked the sausage with onions

get also the fish with tartar and omelette with everything

breakfastbuffet#2 (840am 16aug2015)

highly recommended: cappuccino, pork adobo and roasted tomatoes

breakfastbuffet(8am 15aug2015)

had "cold" omelette :) tastes nice but might have been better hot :) will try again tomorrow

fish with tartar "a bit salty" for my taste (and a like salty things) might be to offset the strong flavor of the tartar which i did not have

rice was cooked nicely

lomi was okay. noodles were in a separate bowl for you to add. a twist to the usual way it is presented/served. i placed a lot of spring onions

had bircher muesli :) always a favorite of mine and reminds me of geneva a lot :) prepared the sweet filipino way :)

had some greens, shredded carrots and onions

cheese and cold cuts were okay

nice start to a stressful weekend

happy to be staying at bayleaf hotel withbuffetbreakfast at 9spoons (around php 5000)
