86 is such a greatvibewhen you wanna kick back and catch up with friends, the staff is so friendly and attentive. the security guard at the establishment was very lousy, he was sleeping on the job. other than that this is a cool spot that is frequented by students.

really enjoyed the pizza here, sometimes it takes a place like this to remind you that the pizza you eat from that franchise down the road is cardboard food. i had the gorgonzola (number 17 on the menu). thevibewas awesome, the service was great, yes!

authentic handmade pizzas. yes.

if you like variety and off-the-wall choices head to 86. really is something for everyone (unless you're banting 😕).

quality of food is awesome and they don't skimp on toppings. i was impressed with the range of drinks too.

thevibesuited braamies - but wasn't grungy or dirty. service was great and we had an great time.

this place is a classic pizza bar. ✔️

wide and more importantly, unique variety of toppings.
traditional wood oven pizza which is always the best. great selection of bases which makes the pizza that much more great.
[my opinion could be invalid because i love pizza in general because let's face it; 🍕=❤️. but it's a really great place].

drinks are also on the strong and/or subtle side (depending on how you feel/ your tolerance 🍒).

in the heart of braamfontein, thevibeis always live and attractive.
perfect place for a sundowner with friends. 🍹

great place to hang out with friends. it has a chilled "come as you are"vibeand the service is amazing. our server was friendly and attentive and the food was amazing

a while ago a big group of us booked out a section of 86 public to celebrate the so and his friend's birthdays. we made a day of it first stopping at 86 and then going to the rugby later on. jozi's inner city has been getting a facelift for years now and it's really paying off.

i've heard rumours of 86's pizza, always getting rave reviews. mmmm. i'm tough to please mainly because i'm a veggie.

as a pizza expert and lover, i have to admit their pizza is some of the best i've had. i highly recommend it. just be careful of the chilli on the side, it's hella hot, even the ones who love hot things struggled. use it sparingly.

thevibeis relaxed and welcoming and the service was great.

i give it a two thumbs up.

my favourite pizza place in johannesburg. would recommend this to anyone looking for a cool place to hang out. i always bring my guests visiting jhb here to show them thevibein town, on weekends and during the week. 
cant wait to visit again.

tasty thin base pizzas. good selection of cocktails and beers. attentive service. trendyvibewith a live dj. fortunately the dj's music is unobtrusive - a mistake many restaurants make where the music is so loud that conversation becomes a challenge. i'm glad to have found 86 public. i'll be back. many times over suspect.

really coolvibethey have got going there. didn't feel unsafe at any point of the evening even though we were in the middle of braam. nice to see the managers/supervisors were hands on and extremely helpful. all in all a great night out. oh and the pizza was amazing.

a greatvibein the heart of johannesburg, especially on a saturday and sunday. enjoy the best wood fired pizza's under the sun in the big city. listen to music and sip on cocktail jugs with friends. perfect for a birthday.
