so impressed. my husband and i had heard good things about this little greek treasure, and we were not disappointed. we rang ahead and let them know that we were held up in traffic - not a problem at all. we were greeted like old friends as we arrived, which was lovely as we had our newborn + pram with us, and were concerned we would be in the way.
all of the staff were very kind and warm. the food matched the service. we had the meat banquet each and were very pleased with the spread. the dips were beautiful, vine leaves and the light dill drizzle awesome. greek salad perfect, not too oily to my relief.
haloumi was amazing, as was the chicken souvlaki and the lamb was tender and falling off the bone. i don't eat red meat usually, but my husband convinced me to try it, and i was glad i did.
we also had some garlic pita - wow...so much better than the usual dry garlic splashed with oil deal...they used the white greek garlic sauce/dip and rolled them into mini wraps...i was in heaven.
we didn't have room for dessert, but i was eyeing off the baklava from across the room, and it looked delicious. byo wine, and quite reasonably priced.
all in all, we thought thisplacewas well and truly worth the drive (for us).
thank you for a great evening!
